About this apartment rental
Escape to one of the prettiest towns in America. Make your vacation a quiet visit in a quintessential, charming apartment close to it all. We offer a ideal vacation rental: one bedroom log home apartment in the woods within walking distance of the Woodstock village center.
The vacation rental apartment is 900 square feet and sleeps up to 4 people, 2 on a new queen sofa bed with tempurpedic mattress. There is a separate bedroom with queen bed. The full kitchen opens to the large living room with cathedral ceiling. Full size appliances include a brand new stainless steel refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and both a washer and dryer. Enjoy cable, flat screen TV and wireless internet (WiFi). We do not permit smoking or pets.
The apartment is a short, 1/4-mile walk to the heart of the village. We have wonderful shops, a beautiful library, several covered bridges, many highly-rated restaurants and a National Park.
THINGS TO DO AND SEE:
- QUECHEE GORGE: 10 minutes away
- 4 top notch LIVE THEATERS within 20 minutes (2 in Woodstock) Opera and Ballet
- BILLINGS FARM AND MUSEUM: 5 minutes away
- Mt. Tom which overlooks the village is a national park, and there are 2 state parks within 20 minutes.
- 3 local BREWERIES: 15 minutes away
- PRESIDENT COOLIDGE'S BIRTHPLACE AND MUSEUM: 20 minutes away
MORE TO DO:
- The VERMONT INSTITUTE OF NATURAL SCIENCE within 10 minutes. It is a place for raptors to heal. Live demonstrations.
- King Arthur Flour home: 20 minutes away
- The athletic center includes tennis, pickleball, workout facility, pool: 2 minutes away
- The host coordinates pickleball on a daily basis, and would be happy to include guests
- DARTMOUTH COLLEGE AND VERMONT LAW SCHOOL a short drive.
- Buy your CHEESE where it's made: Sugarbush Farm
- Woodstock has an indoor rink for ICE SKATING
For last minute reservations, Bob can provide updated snow conditions for DOWNHILL AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING, SNOW SHOEING AND SLEDDING within minutes of this property. Bob can also assist with dinner reservations.
The second Saturday in December is WASSAIL WEEKEND. Check it out online and BOOK EARLY!

What a wonderful apartment for a family trip! We had a great time and didn't lack for anything, though if we had I'm sure our hosts would have gone above and beyond to fill our needs. Would love to stay again in the future.

Great apartment for visiting Woodstock! We walked to town to eat at The Red Rooster and Mon Vert Cafe--both were very good. I suggest using AllTrails to identify nearby trails to hike. The wifi in the apartment was fine for email but not fast enough for video conferencing.

Great spot for everything we wanted to do in Woodstock. The apartment was well equipped for all our needs. Bob was great with recommendations of things to do in the area.

The property was as described and clean. We discovered we did not have hot water the first morning and after multiple attempts/avenues to contact the owner this was not resolved until the next day. This was extremely inconvenient as we were there to participate in a horse show (i.e., we were sweaty and dirty after full days outside in the heat) and we had to find an alternate place to shower. Pillows need a serious upgrade!
