Extremely disappointing stay—misleading listing, no service, and absolutely not worth the money.

The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, with nice nature views typical of the St. Wolfgang area.

The property was completely misrepresented in the listing. It lacked basic cleanliness, and the rooms felt old and poorly maintained. The service was non-existent—no staff around to help, and communication was frustratingly slow. The amenities were not as advertised, and we felt completely let down by the overall experience. It did not feel like a resort at all, more like a neglected rural guesthouse. It was especially disappointing as we were traveling as a family with a child and expected at least minimal comfort and hospitality.

This marks my first negative Booking.com review in nearly a decade of use. Despite waiting, the bath water stayed cold for our entire 3-day stay - never warming up properly. The owner claimed the temperature was normal, but this didn’t help.

Magical experience in a winter wonderland with kind and helpful hosts!

Absolutely amazing property with gorgeous views of the mountain. Feels remote but very accessible to everything. Accommodation very comfortable with beautiful wooden interiors and all modern amenities. Martin and Andrea were very kind and helpful with everything. We had some snow while there and it was magical.

the only thing that I didn’t like about our stay was that the hairdryer was broken when we arrived and no matter how many times I asked for another we never received one. both my daughter and myself have thick long hair that takes a very long time to dry naturally. which made it very difficult for my daughter as she could not wash her hair before going to bed after a day of swimming in the lakes. I also didn’t like the fact there were no blinds on the windows in the main bedroom. black out blinds need fitting to the window.

it's a perfect place if you have a car and want a quiet, high quality wooden place

- the view - the quality of building - wooden, many windows, how well it is made inside - how it was clean - the equipment - space - the host important to consider: you should have a car/bike to explore the nearby area (very interesting with various ways to spend quality time) and accept some driving. to me it was no trouble to spend 7 mins to a shop (well equipped, good variety, choice), 20 mins to a lake, 5-15 to closest mountains, etc. it's not in a centre of bad ishl (which is a good thing anyway, the town is boring and not very nice)

Nature's Oasis And A Tranquil Escape

The lodge has an exceptional location, offering spectacular scenery views. The lodge was new, equipped with modern amenities that provided a comprehensive experience. Although I didn't have the opportunity to use the outdoor table and barbecue area, it looked great, especially with the large meadow. The highlight of my stay was encountering a wild deer around the lodge, making it a truly unique experience. I highly recommend this lodge for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a memorable getaway.

We loved the location despite not having a car. We hired bikes from pro travel in st wolfgang, delivered and collected from door. We loved sitting on the terrace watching the wildlife. Sheep were an added bonus watching their antics in a morning! You will have to visit to see what we mean!

The accomodation and its location is perfect for people who would like to break away a little bit from the busy weekdays. We've been there with a toddler who really enjoyed the freash air, private playground and the animals. As Wolfgangsee is very close to the accomodation we could have impressive hiking tours. We also had a rainy day during our stay which was a bit challenging with a 2-year-old kid because the salt mines nearby not allow children under 4 to visit the mines. It is good to do a little search before arrival to find out what to do with small kids in case of rain. However, our host tried to do their best to find us a program. :) The only thing that could be developed is the lack of breakfast (if possible). It would have been great if we could oder breakfast. Breakfast from ingredients grown/made by local people could be cherry on the top. :) Overall, we really enjoyed the time we spent there. :)

The apartments were comfortably and beautifully furnished and equipped. There was enoigh parking spaces and the environment is very calm and quiet.

The apartments were not differentiated from each other by names or numbers and so it was hard to find out which room is whose and which of the apartments is the one you booked.

Sehr ruhige schöne Lage mit viel Platz und sehr schönem Apartment.

Liegt total ruhig in einem kleinen Weiler, das Apartment war total sauber und modern eingerichtet. Mit großem Grundstück und einem riesigen altem Baum, sehr schön! Viel Platz zum rumliegen und entspannen. Es gibt viele Liegen, Stühle, eine Hängematte, auch einen Spielplatz mit Sand und Sonnenschirm, Schaukeln, Trampolin.....

Die Küche hätte etwas besser ausgestatten sein können, ein Nudelsieb und eine große Salatschüssel ( eine kleine für 2 Leute war da) wären praktisch gewesen. Wir waren aber auch eine große Gruppe. Der Garten und der Spielplatz hätten etwas gepflegter sein können. Griller waren da aber die Roste verdreckt.
