A clean and comfortable stay with good staff, but noise and shower issues reduced overall value.
The room was very clean and well laid out, with a comfortable bed, good lighting, and plenty of power sockets near the bed. I appreciated the strong natural light during the day and the practical workspace. Staff were friendly, professional, and check-in was quick and smooth.
The electric shower frequently lost hot water, and noise insulation was poor, with sounds from other rooms and the corridor. Given the €130 price point, the room felt overpriced.

Awful . Checked in elsewhere rather than stayed there.
The receptionist was helpful & understanding of my decision not to stay. That was the only staff I saw..
It was awful , I didn't stay here . The roo s are far away from the main house in converted stabling/sheds. Not where I thought they would be. The walls were paper thin , I could hear every single word the woman jn the room next door was saying. Felt really run down , smell of damp & very very dated. Not as in good dates as you would expect from a'manor House,'. You're asked for a €150 deposit on checking in & told you are not allowed to eat in your room. Everywhere was poorly lit indoors & outdoors. Restaurant & bar deserted *& uninviting. The receptionist was helpful & understanding of my decision not to stay. That was the only staff I saw. I arrived at night & the whole experience was most disconcerting.

Found it cold in all areas of the Manor House. Not sure about the courtyard rooms however

Great setting and location, 7 mins walk to town. Helpful, friendly staff make you feel very welcome.
Beautiful setting and in walking distance to the town
Room was very warm and a little stuffy initially. Turned down radiator and opened window. As on ground floor did not want to leave window open all night.

Over priced, very much in need of refurbishment
The grounds very pretty
Cold and damp room on arrival, very dated rooms, well needed refurbishment, fire alarm went off several times in the night and unable to contact reception. Pointless complaining management very dismissive.

It was a family Christmas dinner we meet here for the last couple of years but to stay over it's ok
I didn't avail of breakfast this time but it's a basic breakfast nothing special
The gutter outside our bedroom must have been leaking so it was dripping all night which was annoying the plumbing is very old so it takes awhile for the toilet to refill when the hot water in the tap gets hot it is boiling The television was tiny in the room At the bar I had a vodka went to order a 2nd one and there was no vodka left

I would not stay here again due to the room
In a nice quiet location. Staff extremely friendly and a great breakfast.
I stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. The walls are so thin I could easily hear people in the next room talking and also being able to hear the person above going to the toilet which was not particularly nice. Also very noisy water system. Not much space in the room. Could not really use the desk as the chair would not pull out enough due to the bedside cabinet

I would stay again
This hotel was spotless. The room was spacious and the bathroom was lovely
The decor wasn't in keeping with a Manor. It was spotless but if it was done up in keeping with a Manor it would be amazing

Pricy for the area. The bar menu was very limited and the food was awful. Our barman more than made up for the bad foo
Location was fabulous and the scenery was beautiful. Overall very presentable, if a little dated, but it was in need of some upgrades.
In general we felt it was clean but my husband found what resembled sand/grit/crumbs in the bed none of which we brought in.

My favourite place to stay in Leixlip
I enjoyed my short stay. The staff were great, the food was excellent and the room was comfy. There was plenty of free parking too and I felt comfortable leaving my car there.
I had to get up at 5.30am to go to work. I'd loved to have stayed on in my comfy bed.

Clean spacious rooms in a peaceful location
Good size and clean bedroom and bathroom. TV with netflix, YouTube etc. Lovely peaceful quiet location.
The curtains were a bit small for the windows and leave a small gap at the sides.

Beautiful country location, clean, cosy room in the courtyard.
I stayed in a courtyard room located away from the main house which was nice and peaceful. You have to walk to breakfast in the main house (which is OK as long as it isn't raining). The location of the hotel is stunning and the view from the table by the window in the breakfast room was a great way to start the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bar food was good and breakfast buffet had a range of options to choose from.

Separate buildings for bed and breakfast. Very good value for money.
Beautiful main building. You should be beautiful in the summer.
There is a separate building where we slept. We had to walk across the yard to have breakfast. I didn't notice that in the description.

It was okay.
Breakfast was excellent.
The room was very cold when we first arrived. Although it did heat up quick. We heard scratching in the wall cavity behind our bed throughout the night. It really made us feel uneasy for little furry friends knocking about the place.

Basic facilities
The staff were lovely. The bed was very comfortable.
Maybe it was the time of year and the fact that my room was in the courtyard but the hotel lacked atmosphere. The room was basic with no hairdryer and a very small shower. The television was very small and only had about 10 local channels. The walls were thin so you could hear movements in adjoining rooms. This has been pointed out by the hotel but I hadn't realised it would be as bad.

Relaxing enjoyable stay
The hotel itself has a beautiful old world charm and is located in close proximity to the city. The town of lexlip is within easy reach and there is a great walk nearby the hotel.

Pleasantly Surprised with this last minute pick!
The staff was extremely friendly & such a pleasure to chat with & gave us things to do in the area. The breakfast was delicious & a great selection. Loved the view from our room & the grounds around the hotel was fabulous! Highlight was getting to see the horse in the field!

One Nights Stay in Leixlip
Ideal for a one night stopover. Charming courtyard accommodation. Got a really quiet nights sleep. Very comfortable bed. Ample free car parking. Paid extra for breakfast in the adjoining Manor house, which was well worth it. Competitively priced accommodation for the greater Dublin Area on Saturday night... drove from an evening out in Dublin City Centre, and the property is only a 20 minute car or taxi journey away.
Minor drawback is the shower was electric and not very powerful, I would have expected a pumped shower in accommodation of this class (especially as there was ample hot water flowing to the sink from the hot water system).
There was only access to my room by stairs - but to be fair, this situation was highlighted extensively by the hotel in advertisement and communication prior to my arrival.

Overall our stay was so so in our opinion.
Breakfast was good, but the location was remote.
Was not expecting the location.

Beautiful and wonderful place to stay.
We were totally surprised when we pulled into the hotel and even more shocked when we saw the room. It was more than we had expected. Very helpful staff. Beautiful and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Great ready to serve breakfast. Lots of variety. Very private area and quiet setting.
We heard a bit of noise from the room above us at night..talking, creaky floors.

Ok
Very friendly staff on arrival, especially as we arrived late. Bedding is extremely comfortable. Great location to head west avoiding the M50 in the morning. The grounds look lovely (arrived late and departed early so can't fully confirm).
Unfortunately, we had very noisy neighbours (banging doors at 3am, showering at 5am) and the walls/ceilings are wafer thin. So not a super relaxing night if you have noisy neighbours or early commuters nearby

Leixlip Manor Hotel has potential, due to its lovely setting, but lacks basic standards.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, and as it’s clearly an older property, we weren’t expecting everything to be perfect. The staff we dealt with were extremely friendly.
Our room was in the courtyard, separate from the main hotel, and was quite compact, with an even smaller bathroom.
The room itself was reasonably clean, but details were overlooked—for example, dusty light switches and unpolished mirrors. The bed was a small double with only two very flat pillows, which wasn’t especially comfortable. Please note if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs as you can hear everything from all rooms.
There are some basics you would normally expect upon arrival—such as a working television and a working telephone in the room. The TV never worked despite multiple attempts by the receptionist, who was also trying to manage the main reception. The telephone was also out of order, meaning we had to use our own mobile to contact reception.
Food-wise, the bar food was acceptable, but service hours are very limited (until 9pm on weekends, 7pm during the week). Breakfast was basic but fine, though it only starts at 7:30am, which can be inconvenient for work trips. While waiting for breakfast, I met another guest who had no running water at all in her shower, toilet, or sink—and had been waiting over 20 minutes for help.
There seemed to be no manager on hand to deal with problems. It felt like staff were left to manage issues they weren’t properly trained or equipped to fix.

Would not stay again
Quiet in a good location convenient for Dublin port 35 minutes away.
Run down rooms with dirty towels left in the hallways. Poor restaurant with little choice. Below average breakfast. Understand that the hotel was in course of being sold. It has great potential once renovated.

Just ok but not memorable. Disappointed as I had expected more from a manor house stay.
Lovely location. Nice breakfast room, bar and garden. Bar staff very pleasant and helpfull.
The breakfast was very mediocre. Hardly any fresh fruit. I had to ask for yoghurt and got some with a unpleasant blue sauce on it, very strange. Staff not overly friendly or interested in their guests.
We were surprised to sleep in an other building than the manor house.

Overall a good place to stay.
Great location for our stay near Dublin Airport and Lucan. Clean and comfortable room.
On a chilly night there was no heating in the room.
Had to go looking for staff at breakfast to get fresh tea.

Consistently good with clean rooms, friendly welcoming staff and great breakfasttaff
I always stay here when I travel to Dublin. The location is quiet and the rooms clean and well laid out with very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast in the mornings. The rates are very good and do not tend to rise and fall with major events, which is a very welcome rarity. the experience is consistently good and I would.recommend ths location.
Perhaps a bottle of water in the room

Lovely place to stay. Very friendly staff.
Great staff - all without exception very friendly & efficient. Bedroom was lovely. Even when we had a problem with noise from a neighbouring room (in the stables converted area) it was dealt with utmost sympathy & understanding. Offered another much nicer room straight away. Very much appreciated this.
Perhaps slightly more choice of breakfast would be better? Disappointed no porridge or scrambled eggs. Although what was on offer was very nice - served in a beautiful dining room by again very nice staff.

Lovely stay. Would recommend.
Lovely location, staff were lovely, clean. Good facilities. Nice dressing table and chairs.
The double bed was two singles put together so the ridge in the middle wasn’t comfortable

Nothing
No escape window

No guest facilities because of private function

View from our rather small window was of overgrown weeds
No hot water in the room
Only one chair in the room

Overall place delapated

Filthy Place.
Nice waitress in the morning. Comfortable bed.
The whole place needs a good clean. The windows and carpets are filthy. Clearly nobody in charge of maintenance or cleaning. What a shame . One of its few features are the views but all the windows are filthy.
We brought it to their attention straight after checking in that our room needed cleaning and rather than do anything about it, they said that we could check out and find somewhere else to stay and they would refund our payment. I mean, you couldn’t make it up. Faulty Towers!

Good location but the price does not match the experience.
The location was ideal for proximity to the town centre and decent transport links into Dublin
Rooms are rough around the edges, cobwebs in every corner suggests they don’t get a deep clean. The price per night is £20-30 more than it should be from my experience of similar hotels.

Nice hotel lacking some attention to detail.
Lovely location. Nice rooms.
Found a rentokill pod in my room - thankfully in the morning as otherwise wouldn’t have slept.
Breakfast was €17.50 for a pretty average buffet. Breakfast staff were young & ignorant.
Above took the edge out of a really decent hotel.
