Burnside Chalet

Good communication from the property beforehand outlining location and access. The 'welcome basket' was very welcoming; fresh milk in the fridge is always lovely. I loved the secluded garden and well-equipped kitchen. The shower is large and the water pressure excellent. The owner was very helpful, able to produce a couple of screws from the "man box" to satisfy my 'number plate falling off' request [the glue on the double sided tape had started to melt!!!!]

WiFi. The password; depending on font upper case I[i] and lower case l[L] look the same. The password can be changed at the router, something like 'Burnside2026' is easy and avoids confusion. Still on the WiFi, the speed/signal is not brilliant. As part of my trip was work-based this was awkward.

Clean and comfortable property, only 15 minutes from Clay pigeon race track so perfect location for us to stay whilst son competed in the UK Kart series.

Having the big race van we were unable to get the van into the entrance of the property so had to leave in the lay-by just outside. However, ample parking and space for normal size cars.

Great communication. Wonderful 'Welcome Hamper'. Early Check In appreciated. Friendly hosts. Great location

The chalet is very rural.

A small welcome pack would have been nice, as didn't realise the local village shop was 6 miles away.Tea/coffee was provided but no milk! More privacy needed as front windows look out on the neighbours parking space and front door,( even if it was net curtains) Maybe a few personnel touches would have been more welcoming and the grass cut as it just felt a little unloved.
