VILLA GOMEZ at French colony

The location and the size of the rooms were great, everything functioned

The overall experience was spoiled by a rather strange dynamic at the property. The "owner"—who isn't Gomez—seemed obsessed with constantly asserting his title and presence. He repeatedly interrupted us to offer unsolicited "instructions" on trivial matters like footwear and parking. For example, he insisted my niece leave her shoes downstairs even though it was pouring rain outside, and he made me re-park my car on the street just to move it 2 cm—a completely pointlessly small adjustment that made no difference whatsoever. The constant micromanagement made us feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable in what should have been a relaxing space

We stayed at this place as a family of five for three days. The house was very spacious, neat, and clean. It is located in the heart of the town, so places like Rock Beach, Vinayagar Temple, the Ashram, and the French Colony were all within walking distance. It was truly worth the stay.

Fredrick the host met us at the villa and was very helpful and friendly. Kalia was available to clean if required. They were available if required answering texts very promptly. The property was situated in a quiet road and felt very secure and the local area safe. We forgot a pair of sunglasses and the host posted them on to our next location at no cost to us. Great service. Thank you
