For a short holiday , a weekend trip to Budapest or maybe a longer vacation, we can offer you this exceptional holiday apartment in the heart of Budapest. It is for rent all year long. This beautiful apartment is a part of what was originally the building owner's home and has miraculously retained most of the original features dating back to 1898, date of completion of the house. It is composed of 2 very large rooms (over 40 m2 each) , one a bedroom and the other the living-room. The 14 feet high ceilings with wonderful stucco, the period stained-glass windows by Miksa Roth, leading artist of the time, the fantastic onyx fireplace, the gilded wood-paneling and an ornate venetian mirror all contribute to making a stay here a special experience, allowing to enjoy a feel of the past and the comfort of today.

- The living-room, which faces south, opens onto a nice balcony equipped with a table and chairs, from where you can watch the world go by on the square and park downstairs. The apartment is on the first floor of a beautifully ornate, if somewhat run-down 3 floor house equipped with an elevator. It can sleep up to 6 people: 1 double bed, 3 single beds and a comfortable mattress on the floor.

Wonderful stay!! The flat is beautiful and in a great location of good restaurants and subway right across the street. Host was very responsive as I had a few questions. Would definitely book this apartment again!

Beautiful historic building in a great area by lots of restaurants, cafes and convinces. Such a lovely big apartment with all of the old world warmth and charm we were hoping for. Communication with the host was great!

Great place - as advertised and felt like even more. Clean, spacious, very kind and informative host. Loved the city and did not want to leave.

The flat's decor and era is a real treat. It has a homely welcoming feel. There is a comfortable queen bed and is most suited to a couple. While it sleeps six, the other beds were far to firm for us or any guests. There is a large and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. It was wonderful having the balcony to enjoy the morning and late afternoons. The trees give privacy from the road and park across the road. There is a large market only metres away and a tram close by. It was mostly quiet at night, although people congregated at the park over the road and could be noisy at times. The area is not suited to someone staying on their own. It felt relatively safe.
