It's all about the location - right on the sea front and beside the boardwalk. The balcony literally overhangs the sea!
La Cala De Mijas is about a 35/40 minute pleasant walk along the boardwalk and beach. The boardwalk goes all the way to Calahonda and is a really nice walk with lots of restaurants etc on the way for refreshments.
2 nice restaurants nearby (Panorama Beach and La Familia) and the local supermarket is about a 10/15 minute walk away.
The apartment is spacious and is a typical holiday rental, but is very clean and well equipped.
The surrounding gardens and pleasant pool area are really nicely maintained.
Good communication from the management including a really helpful video about access.
We didn't have a car so walked everywhere, but for some people it might seem a bit too far out of the main town.

Traumhafte Lage, tolle Ausstattung, schnelle und reibungslose Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.
Man sollte aber einen Mietwagen haben, da die Unterkunft nicht ganz zentral ist.
Die riesigen Sofas im Wohnzimmer sind funktional als Doppelbetten nutzbar - als reine Sofas eher unbequem. Sonst wirklich nichts auszusetzen.
