"Rustic" looking, but modern comfort inside. Perfect!

Loved it! The cabin is a perfect mix of "rustic log cabin" with "modern, convenient, and comfortable home." Greatly enjoyed the sauna (with a snow bath) and the gorgeous serene location. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfy sofa near fireplace. Beautiful snowy field in the back, which becomes a pretty pond during the warm months, I think. We caught a little bit of Northern Lights from the back porch, as well as colorful sunsets. Really nice place and friendly hosts.

Check-in requires a stop at a nearby shopping center. A car is pretty much a necessity, as the cabin is in a rather secluded neighborhood. A few kilometers away from everything you need (food, groceries, etc).

Easy and uncomplicated check-in, check-out, nice sauna and cosy fireplace. Ideal stay for two pairs or a family.

Since you need a car to reach comfortably the location, it would be a big plus to have a battery charger in front of the hut, like in many other places. Unfortunately the battery in our car didn't make it through the night.

The location is 2 km away from saariselka town, so cabs need to be called everytime you want to go anywhere and they are kinda expensive

Very atmospheric cabin in Lapland with lovely sauna, some of the facilities could do with an upgrade

The situation of the cabin, the private sauna (which was lovely!), the general feel of the accommodation, generous stock of wood in the storage area outside, lovely outlook from the balcony to the lake.

Mattresses very soft, seating in the lounge is generally quite uncomfortable and has an awkward layout, could have been cleaner, a little bit tired around the edges.

This place was absolutely amazing. We loved it. They had thought of everything, including a bottle of bubbles on ice and flowers on the table. It had begun to snow and the lake was icing over. It looked stunning. It might have been cold outside but the cabin was warm, cozy and welcoming. We highly recommend this accommodation. Great attention to detail.

Mökki vastasi kuvia ja oli erittäin viihtyisä. Sauna kuumeni nopeasti ja tarjosi hyvät löylyt. Hyvät sängyt ja peitot. Paljon vaihtoehtoja rentouttavaan illanviettoon niin mökissä kuin mökin pihallakin. Mannermainen aamupala oli valikoimaltaan ok, mutta terveellisiä vaihtoehtoja olisin kaivannut enemmän. Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja yleisilme siisti.

Mökin lämpötila oli varsin kuuma ja kaikki kokivat hikoilua yön aikana. Aamiainen oli kylällä, joten sinne piti mennä autolla (kävellen aamupalalle olisi ollut liian pitkä matka), mutta toisaalta sama sijainti tarjosi mökkeilyyn rauhallisen ympäristön... Aamupalatarpeet pääsivät usean ruoan kohdalla loppumaan, mutta uusi erä tuli aika nopeasti tilalle. Kahvivaihtoehdot olivat aika kamalan makuisia (olen vähän snobi kahvin suhteen :-D). Vierastan pikaruokaravintoloista tuttua tapaa, jossa edellytetään asiakkailta astioiden vientiä keräyspisteelle. Se jotenkin latistaa käsitystä "paremmasta" ruokapaikasta.

Ein einfach toller Familienurlaub.

Das Haus hat eine ganz tolle Lage. Es war die beste Lage, die wir bisher hatten (mitten im Wald, keine störenden Lichter - perfekt, um Polarlichter beobachten zu können).

Die Eingangstür müsste etwas justiert werden. Die geht zu schwer und ist nicht dicht genug … bei -27 Grad waren der Eingangsbereich und die Toilette somit schon recht kalt 🥶. Im Küchenbereich müsste der Holzbelag an einer Stelle mal erneuert werden.
