St John Suites - Adults Only Zakynthos

From the front desk to the Breakfast staff, and Bar and Restaurant staff all fantastic and so polite and helpful .. you almost feel they are doing too much for you but it's all done with wonderful smiles and pleasure. Hats off however to the the guys Abdul and Rocky who tirelessly escorted us on their lixurgolf buggies whenever and for whatever we needed . These guys deserve a medal and treat you like Royalty.. This place made us feel so special. Absolutely gorgeous 🌞☀️🌞

My stay at St. John Suites was truly exceptional. The resort exudes a rare sense of tranquil luxury that relaxes you instantly, and its location is simply fantastic! A special mention goes to Noya, the restaurant at the front of the resort, the breathtaking view combined with the live music creates a truly magical experience.

English breakfast . Looks they was from yesterday . Tomatoes and sausage looks like 4 days old .. and coffe price 6€ its overprice . And they cleaned a swimming pool for the first two days and then they don’t clean properly .. we need to clean ourselves .

The suite and private pool were lovely, very clean and comfortable with all the facilities you could want. Someone came to clean the pool area every morning, very quietly and discreetly, which was great because we had nesting birds in the rafters leaving a bit of a mess at times. It's very private too, you never feel overlooked by anyone else and being adults only, we could really relax and enjoy. The waiters and buggy drivers were very friendly and helpful. Always very cheerful and considerate.

The food on the halfboard menu wasn't good - choice was limited and the quality was inconsistently mediocre. My husband ordered the lamb on two occasions, once was cooked beautifully and the second night it was very overcooked, dry and tough. I was disappointed by all of my evening meals, they were ok, big portion sizes but definitely not 5 star quality food. We only continued eating there for dinner because we had already paid for the half board. If we did it again we would have gone for the B&B only option, gone into town for dinner and got a taxi or walked back up the hill at night. I don't recommend booking activities through the hotel. There's no information at reception and instead it's all done via WhatsApp with the manager, which is an oddly dubious way to organise things. I spent an hour and a half messaging back and fore and only booked one activity in the end. Communication could have been much clearer as we weren't given the name of the company, contact details or information on the exact meeting point which caused us to be late despite leaving with plenty of time. It unnecessarily complicated, lacked transparency and makes me question why only the manager can arrange things by WhatsApp.
