Location perfect for us. Cooking utensils sufficient. Nice to have washing machine, refrigerator, and stove.
As non-Japanese, we would appreciate more information in English. We didn't know what to do with the trash and when. Luckily, we have a Japanese relative would showed us how to operate the appliances. Didn't find a sharp knife so we bought one. We would have done more complete recycling given the opportunity.

Overall, this homestay worked well for our trip to Nara. The location is the main highlight—it’s within easy walking distance to Nara Park, and having free parking just 50 meters away was very convenient.
Inside, the house was clean and had all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The building itself is quite rundown and could definitely use some updates, but if you're looking for a practical, well-located place with parking, it gets the job done.
