Hidden gem!!!

This place is a hidden gem! Well located and it is really nice to be away from the hussle in rovaniemi. We saw Aurora from our bed. The igloo is very well equipped (the huge dryer for snow clothes was a great surprise!) The staff is so so nice! We didn’t use the spa (because there is so much to do in Pyha we ran out of time) but we used the bbq hut and that was so cool! The sky at Pyha is also really great! We did skiing, adventure park e ice climbing/zip line, aurora tour and reindeer rides, kids snow mobile and they all pick you up at the hotel. There is a grocery store really close by. The kitchen in the igloo has everything you may need. The restaurants in town are all great!

It is a beautiful place located in a ski resort with a lot of winter activities

I took this place to see the northern lights from the room, and I actually saw them! The price is fair, even cheaper than other igloos. The room is not big, but it is enough for two people. We got very detailed instructions from the receptionist on where we can look for the aurora, and it was helpful and saved us a lot of time and frustration because the best spot is less than 10 minutes drive from the igloo

The location next to the ski slopes, in s quite place but with restaurants and supermarket close by. We saw the northern lights even it’s not the most dark place. They borrow us winter shoes and other equipment to enjoy even more the place. Alas the auroras tour they recommend was great

Amazing in all aspects

It looks amazing, everything is clean, the bed is comfortable, there are all kinds of appliances (so you can prepare food because Finnish restaurants have tiny portions :D), the toilet is spacious. The igloo window is great and the view provides a sense of calm. Really great stay overall.

We were so lucky to see northern lights during our one night stay at the igloo. It wasn’t so obvious from inside but once stepped outside of the igloo, we could see it fuller and on the other side of the accommodation.

It’s half glass roof that shaped a little like igloo but from the front and external facade it looks like a normal house. Wished they were designed like individual igloo house for more privacy and experience.

Exceptional.

Iglues look amazing. Superb location, close to the slopes and shops and restaurants. The shower/bathroom was amazing. The large dryer in the room makes it easy to get clothes dry for the next day. Kitchen has essentials, enough to get a basic breakfast or dinner ready. View from the windows is great, albeit a bit polluted from the city lights.

It was set in a beautiful location. Just at the bottom of one for the ski slopes. The interior was well designed

Beautiful place and location, next to ski resort, finnish experience.

Beautiful place, vey friendly staff (especially Minna), nice amenities, literally right next to the ski resort, but also beautiful cosy rooms with big glass for aurora view (if you are lucky) while being walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants etc. The sauna/outdoor jacuzzi is a must + the hut with the Finnish bbq experience is also really great. We only stayed there for a couple of days, wish we had 4-5 daysat least to really chill & enjoy the place more without being in a hurry.

Since we were commuting to Rovaniemi and our stay was small, the 1.5-2 hour drive in the winter that we had to do daily was a bit too much; which is why I would recommend Pyha Igloos for a bit longer stays (4-5 days min) to really enjoy both the resort as well as the surrounding areas + increase likelihood to see the norhtern lights!

Cosy and comfortable in a stunning location

Great quieter location but still with a good selection of restaurants nearby and a shop all in walking distance. The room itself was exceptionally comfortable with good facilities.

Expected the BBQ room to be open and running, but would have only really been used for the cosiness.

Nice view

Loved the large window looking out at the snow. It was really special. The electric fireplace is a nice touch. Underfloor heating was nice

The door handle in our room was not working. This was flagged the day before and a make shift plastic piece was attached. We got locked into our room which is a huge safety risk. I believe management knew this door had the potential to not open.The electrician was called to correct and he spent almost 3 hours with the door open fixing this.(-14c weather) We were not offered any alternative accomodation or any slight customer service. We were even hoping from an apology from the owner. WiFi is also quite bad just to note

Cozy room under the aurora

Lovely stay! The place was just as described, clean and cozy with a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfy, and the supermarket was nearby. I was lucky to see the Northern Lights right from my room — such a wonderful experience! 💫🌌

The only small downside was the high fence at the back, which gives good privacy but can show up in photos. Other than that, everything was perfect! ❤️

Deep experience in the finnish Lapland

The place is exactly as it appears in the pictures! As soon as we arrived we were explained in detail what activities could be done in the natural park by the very kind host and we went to see our igloo equipped with every comfort, with huge glass window to see the sky. After a visit to the park, whose entrance is 10 minutes away, for the evening we were grilling in the very comfortable outdoor cottage that offered wood and all kinds of grilling tools. Highly recommended!

Everything is Good on a half rates compared to Other Igloos. Pyha Location is fantastic everything is nearby Ski Slope, National reserve. I Tried Fat Bike and it was fantastic Experience. Very Very good Reception Manager she helped us a lot for family activities and other facilities at Igloo.

Not a place to see the Aurora.

Room was not hot enough, internet was barely working and if you are planning to see the northern lights the location is just behind a hill so the location itself decreases the chance to see the aurora.

Great location for a winter adventure.

Great communication with staff prior to arrival. We don't ski, but being feet from the slopes is a great benefit. We did sled a few times after skiing was done. The room was great, perfect to make meals, spacious, and the glass ceiling was really nice. Outdoor hot tub when it was -40 centigrade was a unique experience.

Our main objective in visiting Lapland was to see the Northern Lights. Although I expected bright lights during skiing time, I was disappointed that there were a lot of lights throughout the grounds, particularly right outside of the back of our room where the windows are. I understand the desire for safety and lighting, but it dramatically reduced the view of the night sky, and we couldnt see the northern lights from our room. WE drove 30 minutes north were it was completely dark, and the lights were indescribable.

Very nice property

Generally the apartment was very nice. We enjoyed the living room area, the view from the igloo, motorised bed and nice shower room.

Light pollution from neighbouring igloos and properties behind the fence hindering Northern Light viewing. Sauna and jacuzzi not included in the price and very expensive.

Exceptional

We stayed in the Igloo, which is not ideally an igloo but a huge room with big glass windows to enjoy the views. The room was really beautiful with a really big and nice comfortable bed. We stayed only for a night with no aurora, wish we had more nights in this beautiful property. Check-in was super easy and the area surrounding the resort is also really beautiful for walks and immersing in the nature! The supermarket was really close by getting food and drinks.

cosy place, too much light pollution

The bed was very comfortable. and the place on general very cosy. They have electric car chargers. The place is very modern in general.

The light pollution. The big window is facing the sky resort. The lights of the slopes did not turn off until 21:00 approx. Furthermore, we had some local lights (not sure if they belong to the hotel) that didn’t turn off at least until 2:00 a.m. If you aim to stay here to have some good views of the sky, I would not recommend it unless they do something with the lighting. The extra expense for having a glass wall was not worth it for me.
