Selous River Camp

Cadre magnifique au bord de la rivière et à proximité immédiate du parc national. On se sent de suite dépaysé avec les hippopotames en face. Nous avons géré les excursions avec eux et tout s’est très bien passé et nous étions très satisfaits.

La salle de bain mériterait un rafraîchissement pour en faire un lieu exceptionnel. L’eau de la douche n’était pas chaude au pommeau mais en version bain mais sans baignoire donc accroupi. L’attente au petit déjeuner alors que les safaris étaient prévus et que nous arrivions à l’ouverture pour être à l’heure et que la veille nous avions demandé à ce que tout soit prêt avec nos choix pour le petit déjeuner pour ne pas attendre 45min d’être servis comme la veille. Pour info, la piscine est froide en août.

Geweldig park, personeel, ligging, accommodatie, eten, echt alles! Heerlijk om tot rust te komen en tegelijkertijd zo veel moois te kunnen zien. Overal wildlife maar het is vooral het personeel dat het helemaal perfect maakt!

Everything about Selous River Camp is absolutely amazing, making it a truly magical place. The lodge is located right in the middle of an untouched forest with breathtaking river views and an abundance of wildlife. As an experienced off grid traveler, the sensational meals, the comfortable accommodations, the free amenities and the well maintained facilities exceeded all of my expectations. Above all, every single staff member at the lodge delivered an outstanding service and attended to my every need. Their authentic generosity and kindness has made my stay a very special and unforgettable one. I honestly recommend this beautiful natural paradise to anyone seeking a true connection with nature and the local culture. A very heartfelt ‘Asante Sana’ to Abdullah, Obrey, Ellie, Justin, Nu, Bitta, the fabulous Chefs, the sweet Massai security guards and to the exceptional housekeeping and maintenance teams.
