About this house rental
Beautiful 1500 sq/ft home in Palm Valley community. Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths which will accommodate up to 6 people. We are located close to multiple spring training facilities in Goodyear, Surprise, Buckeye, and Peoria. 15 minutes from ISM Raceway. We are also next to several golf courses including Wigwam and Palm Valley Golf Course. Several restaurants, a Walmart, and grocery stores within 3 miles of our home.
Our home features a master suite with king size bed, 40 in TV, walk-in closet, tub and separate shower. Additionally the second bedroom has a queen bed, 40 in TV, with dresser/nightstand, and third room has 1 full and 1 twin bed with a nightstand. Our kitchen has stainless steel appliances plus an island with seating for 2 and a dining table to accommodate 6 guests. There is a full-size washer and dryer for guests to use as well. Living area features 3 recliners and a reclining couch with a 50in Tv including a stereo receiver with Bluetooth to enjoy music while sitting in the spa or relaxing on the patio by the pool. Pool can be heated for an additional charge of $50+taxes per day. Spa is included. Patio seating includes love seat and 2 chairs with coffee table. Additionally, there are 4 lounge chairs and a table with 4 chairs and umbrella. There is also an extra umbrella and stand for those hot summer days for some additional shade. Try your hand at a game of Corn Hole on the lawn. Additionally, there are cards, puzzles, board games, and books for guests to enjoy. STR0000167

We enjoy our stay very much. The pool and hot tub were a big hit for our family vacation. The home is very well stocked with anything you could need. Beds and furniture very comfortable. The host was also friendly and overly accommodating. We loved getting fresh oranges from the trees each morning!

My family and I stayed at this property over Christmas 2019. We had an overall good stay but we had some issues that I feel need to be listed.
We had problems with the dishwasher leaking and the main tub not draining. We also did not realize that you could only heat the pool or the hot tub, not both at the same time. That was a bit of a bummer. The owner was very prompt in getting a handy man to the property which was appreciated, but it did not cancel the fact that after Christmas dinner we were moping up a soaked kitchen from a leaking dishwasher. Also, we could tell this was a new property because there were some annoying things like, sheets not tucking into the mattress (tall mattress, but normal size sheets), making it really frustrating to make the bed 4 times a night to keep everything in place. The sheets were not cotton, so they slipped a lot in general. There was no trash cans in the bedrooms, there was a coffee maker that did not need a filter, but no instructions how to use it. The stove also needs instructions (fancy stove that does not just turn on). Things like that that added a lot of frustration to our stay.
The location was perfect for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for walking at night. The owner was very prompt in responding, which was amazing! The pool and hot tub was a nice bonus for us northerners! We also enjoyed the patio chairs to sit in the sun.
Overall, I gave it 3 stars, It had potential to be a great stay, but fell short for us.
