Nos gustó todo, situación, casa y el anfitrión, Luis, que es un encanto y nos facilitó la solución a un imprevisto. Lo recomiendo al 1000x1000. Experiencia maravillosa.

No hay nada que no nos gustara

C’était notre deuxième séjour ici, et certainement pas le dernier ! Nous étions revenus après une première expérience inoubliable l’an dernier, et cette année a été tout aussi magique. La maison est impeccable et on s’y sent tout de suite bien. C’est un vrai havre de paix, parfait pour profiter du calme et de la beauté des paysages. Un immense merci à notre hôte pour son accueil si chaleureux, ainsi que pour le pain et les madeleines artisanales (un délice !). Un gros plus pour la fraîcheur de la maison, jour et nuit, idéale pour échapper à la canicule. À l'année prochaine !

No nos gustó los mosquitos... Pero la vivienda dispone de un buen sistema de mosquiteras y también disponen de sprays anti mosquitos.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and with good furniture, towels & bed linen. The air conditioning worked with silent efficiently, making the whole interior comfortably cool. Once I'd learned how to operate the Hi-Tech TV sets -- in living room and bedroom! -- I enjoyed incredibly clear pictures. The nice young owner owner very quickly produced the insecticide spray I requested, to deal with spiders, wasps and other insects around the terrace. It's no surprise to find insects in wild countryside; but nevertheless they can be a menace. The owner, and his charming wife, responded quickly to direct requests for help.

We got off to a bad start. I knew the apartment had 4 steps up to the terrace; but foresaw no problem because the owner had agreed to meet me at about 3 pm, with the key, and help me because I had told him I have a minor disability. He phoned while I was on my way (and on time), to say he could not meet me "because of the heat"; but the key was in the door (?!) and "...there are neighbours who will help you." (Apparently he hadn't said a word to the neighbours. There was nobody in sight when I arrived. Later I spotted a neighbour by the swimming pool, and astonished the man by asking for advice re. the kitchen equipment.) Meanwhile, it was indeed hot and I had a struggle carrying heavy grocery bags from the parking area, and especially up the four steps with no handrail. To be fair, perhaps I should have told the owner my age! but he knew I was alone. I found I had no idea how to operate the unfamiliar micro-wave or vitro hob. Even hand-written instruction sheets would have been helpful. The TV controls were a mystery which the owner explained an hour later, in response to my SMS requesting all-round assistance. ALSO: On a video of the property, I had seen the track from the main road. It is a steep hill. The owner, when I called 2 days previously to tell him my estimated time of arrival, said it was just a slope. He failed to say that there is a very tight corner lower down! An honest answer would have made me better prepared to make the necessary three-point-turn, to get round it. (A neighbour at the property said he'd needed several attempts! )
