What a little gem we found and will definitely be returning
The location is amazing,the inside has been decorated in a perfect way that hasn’t spoilt the original features and is kept very clean in all areas.
the pub could get very busy and seating a little bit squashed but that can’t be helped and can only be a good sign for the Castle Inn.

Exceptional stay
Attention to detail, lovely warm atmosphere, great community feeling - it was Monday and there was a quiz night which was great fun. Staff were excellent, service and food were spot on. Superb location. What was there to not like?

Clean and Cute Pub accommodation with great staff
Sweet and amazing staff! Thank you so much for sending us out with the takeaway coffee! The breakfast was delicious:) The place was very clean and tidy. Would definitely consider staying here again when we are back in the area.

The Castle Inn was a very comfortable nicely furnished and decorated Inn in an attractive village. The staff were very welcoming and the dinner was excellent

We had a week, we don't know Dorset, but now we will return, hopefully in better weather.
From the first step across the threshold we heard laughter, the atmosphere was homely and it was warm without being too hot. Our room was wonderful, clean and the bathroom was great. The water is hot, and the room is cleaned and bed made every day, it was very well done. The breakfast was tasty but I normally only have toast, which was wonderful sourdough toast was very tasty and fresh. The Dinners were fresh, tasty and well presented. Would I return? in a heart beat.
