Lovely gite in the centre of Loches :)

We were fine but the staircase could be problematic for the elderly and infirm:

Excellent location, lots of space, very convenient, but lots of stairs climbing.

Excellent location in old Loches. Very large apartment: well equipped kitchen on the ground floor, huge living room on first floor, large bedroom on 2nd floor and two more bedrooms on 3rd floor... and an old spiral wooden staircase connecting it all.

You will need a good pair of legs. There is only one fully equipped bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, on 2nd floor, and a tiny toilet on ground floor. prepare to climb the old wooden staircase many times a day... The location, in "Grande rue" is excellent, but it means that at night you hear lots of talking and partying from the street. Did not bother us, however.

We had a great time in this extraordinary gîte in the center of Loches. After a warm welcome, we got the impression to stay at friends.The house is great and comfortable, and in the kitchen we prepared our christmas menu without any need.

The perfect place to visit the Loire valley!

Wonderful place that exceeded our expectations. Pictures did not describe the charm well enough. The location is perfect, the design wonderful, a lot of space. And everything is available.

Please beware of the wooden stair. Nothing for elderly people or people with mobility problems. Also, there is only one bathroom, could be challenging if fully occupied. An espresso machine would have been nice (in order to reach perfection :)

clé dans boite à clé donc arrivée et départ facilités. Gite situé au cœur de la belle ville de Loches Très spacieux 2 salles de douche, 3 WC linge fourni

escalier = gîte pas du tout adapté à des personnes avec des difficultés de mobilité. peut être mieux le mettre en avant même si pour ce qui nous a concerné cela n'a pas été un problème. je connaissais d'ailleurs déjà le gîte Manque de poêles (1 seule petite poêle pour 6)

Une rampe pour mieux sécuriser l escalier qui est magnifique et d époque mais pas facile quand on prend de l age
