    This is a log cabin-style resort compound reminiscent of a place you'd find in rural Montana - but it's in the north end of Ubon Ratchatani, a short distance from the bus station, set on an extensive and quite private lot. I had a room that was effectively a small studio set in a bungalow with a small stone balcony with benches facing the parking area. The core space was lined with lacquered pressboard, and the bathroom finished with artistically designed rock siding. The space had large curtained windows, and a living room with matching rattan sofa, armchairs, and decorative pillows. The king-size four poster bed had lace curtains and a comfortable mattress. The AC, hot water, electrical, and lighting were all great, although the wifi was spotty. The room had a small fridge and a large screen TV. There was lots of cupboard space, with marble-topped counter space in the room that can be used as writing space, the same marble finish also used for the bathroom sink This place is huge on charm, the room and decor very tasteful, far higher quality than you would find in such a price category. Staff is very helpful, and maintains the space impeccably clean. Despite the distance from town, there are nice restaurants and cafes available on the main road running past hotel.
