The house was awesome, with a beautiful garden with many fruit trees. The best is the hosts. They are very very nice. They provided us with a lot of help and guidance. My family enjoyed staying here a lot. We’d definitely stay longer next time we’re in Negril

My holiday in Negril at Nelson Retreat was truly an amazing experience. I travelled with two family members, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. This beautiful residence is located in a private cul-de-sac with welcoming neighbours. The area feels very secure and safe, leading to a private gate and beautifully kept grounds. I cannot say enough about the couple who run this residence. Shirley is absolutely awesome and always goes above and beyond. I would definitely recommend trying her breakfasts to start the day — she can cook! We always began our mornings with our palates smiling. William, her husband, was also a brilliant host. He kindly gave us lifts into town a couple of times and spoke passionately about Jamaica, guiding us to enjoy a truly authentic experience. Nelson’s Retreat is located at the end of West End, just a 10-minute walk from the famous Rick’s Café, where the sunsets are simply breathtaking. It’s also not too far from town, where you can find everything from authentic cuisine and fast-food chains to supermarkets and banks. A gorgeous place run by a lovely couple — we are definitely returning next year with more of our family!
