The location was far enough away to be the remote getaway that we wanted, but close enough to amenities if we needed. 'The Shay' was such a cute and cosy little cabin with everything we could have wanted. Loved the indoor and outdoor fire options! Nicely decorated too :-)

It was amazing. We arrived late but Trish our host was lovely enough to have turned on some light. Thank goodness for that cause it was so dark even with high beam on. My husband and I found it so relaxing even he enjoyed the deep bath looking out the window as the cows and the calfs mozeed on over.
I'm being very picky when I say this. But the TV would have been nicer in the sitting room and not the bedroom.
Not that you will need TV as the views and animals are more than.
