Situated on a bluff, this oceanfront home boasts a 180 degree unobstructed close water ocean view, spanning from Point Reyes to Bodega Head. Hear the sounds of the waves crashing below and see Pelicans flying overhead. A short seven minute walk down the Pinnacle Gulch Trail leads to a secluded beach complete with tide pools at low tide.
The floor plan of this spacious home is ideal for large gatherings. The house has 4 bedrooms that includes two master suites. Each bedroom has it's own state of the art 50 inch 4KHD flat screen tv and the living room has a 70 inch 4KHD flat screen tv with available cable and high speed internet connection, The fully equipped kitchen and laundry area has large appliances and the home has an 8 person hot tub that is professionally cleaned once a week, pool table, game table and both a charcoal and a gas grill. There is plenty of outdoor seating available.
We take pride in replacing pillows and sheets every few months. The hot tub is serviced every single week. The living room furniture, mattresses, rugs, paint and most flooring is new to provide our special and valued guests with a very clean home.
This home provides an amazing escape and relaxing get away.

Beautiful and spacious home. We were 6 adults and 3 young children. Split the 4 bedrooms just fine. There was a trail a few minutes (driving) away where you can park your car and go for the 1 mile trail - to the beach and back. There is also a wonderful restaurant in the actual community and beautiful views walking around the neighborhood. We had lots of beautiful deer and wild rabbits pay us a visit outside. The property had plenty of towels and linens. The kitchen had basics like salt, pepper, utensils, coffee maker, etc. Bring some cooking spray or oil though! (And ketchup) Only thing we were a bit disappointed with was that the jacuzzi needed some major cleaning. We turned the jets on and suddenly all these old hairs and debris came out and flooded the jacuzzi. Also fair warning, the hot water runs out rather quickly so plan accordingly when showering. Or with multiple people using the showers. Other than those minor things, it was a great stay! Host very responsive and helpful!

It is a 4 bedroom, 4 bath house with a jacuzzi. The rooms were decorated in a wonderful sea styles. The house was very roomy with a pool table in the garage. The master suite was unbelievably huge. The mattress could definitely be softer. I would stay here again for the ocean views alone.

We really enjoyed the cozy spaciousness of this clean home, with multiple rooms to choose from, ample space to relax and a super functional kitchen. The host was very considerate of our needs, and left us welcome goodies on the counter which was an unexpected treat. We enjoyed the fireplace and wood was even provided. Could not have asked for more for a memorable weekend getaway!

The view is beautiful!; however the house needs some attention. A really good cleaning and some paint would be helpful. There are multiple stairs to get to the main floor, there is a really good handrail. There are also a couple of stairs to the kitchen also with a really good handrail. There is a sunken living room, unfortunately there is not a hand rail and there is a piece of trim that is a tripping hazzard. The host was very kind and communication was good. There is a pool table in the garage and multiple adirondack chairs on the front patio. The hot tub area is in the middle of the house and a couple of the bedrooms have doors that open into that area. The deck is soft in a few places. There were a lot of extra blankets and space heaters for your use, as well as a fireplace. Lighting in the kitchen and living room was pretty dim. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Felicity's home was the perfect place for our retreat. The common spaces were spacious allowing eight of us to easily come together in the comfortable abundant seating in the main living space and around the dining table. The four bedrooms all contained comfortable warm bedding and mattresses with an extra private room for one of us. The hot tub was clean and heated perfectly -- a big plus we look for in our annual retreats. IN addition, it was a true pleasure communicating with Felicity leading up to our time in her home and during our retreat to answer any questions we had. She was caring, warm and responsive to every inquiry or request for more information. We look forward to returning next year!

This house was wonderfully located with a beautiful view of the sea and picturesque sunsets. It was also quiet with the welcome sounds of the sea lions and fog horn and at times with deer walking by the property. However, the layout of the house is not friendly to seniors due to the stairs. While the description of the property mentioned that we bring our own toiletries, it is the first one that I have stayed in without provision of toiletries which is a basic standard in most rental properties.

Pro's: absolutely beautiful ocean views from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Very spacious with four full bedrooms and plenty of seating in common areas. Very short, 5-7 minute walk to the beach. Nice game table in nook in living room for cards, puzzels, etc.. Pool table. Hot tub. Con's: One shower with glass wall to outside with no curtain and no way to adjust water flow. Another shower with slugs and millipede that come out of areas missing caulking when shower is on. No place to hang towels in bathroom. All four mattresses are very soft which could be ok unless you have a back problem. Hot tub throws breaker unless you only use half of the jets. No back yard seating; front of the house faces the ocean with chairs spread along the sidewalk. The ocean view was spectacular, though!

Concerns: key was inside the front door--we had to jiggle a back sliding door open to get in--and internet connect info was wrong--but access to owner and quick answers were appreciated. Otherwise, the house accommodated 7 of us easily, plenty of space and baths--wonderful decor and kitchen well stocked. Fishing, long walks in the fog, and family fun all happened.

Stayed here from Wednesday-Sunday with my family. The first thing we noticed, immediately, was the shotty work that was done to the property. The owner upgraded things, but the work is questionable. For instance, floor boards coming up, texturing on walls is terrible, bad patch jobs, bathroom shower head was “upgraded” to a fancy type but not hooked up properly so it doesn’t work except as a normal shower. There also isn’t really much room to store anything, like food. There are many storage closets all over the house, but they are all locked for cleaning supplies. Seemed like they could’ve consolidated and made more storage space for guests. There were also no open cabinets in the kitchen for storing food items. As far as what the kitchen is stocked with, dishes and cookware are there but there are absolutely no spices of any mind Not even the very basics which made it hard to cook being in a town with only two tiny, very expensive stores. And the kitchen itself needs a big upgrade. The countertops are falling apart. The listing is also wrong in a few ways. It says there are three ovens. There are two. It says they have a gas grill. They have a charcoal grill, and there was not enough charcoal for us to cook a meal. The owner did come and bring some for us, but long after our intended dinner time so we ended up eating out that night instead. The location is wonderful. Right on the bluff and close to the path down to the beach.

The ocean views from this property are the best we have ever had in Bodega! The size of the home easily accommodated our family of 5 adults/3 children. The owner was delightful, responsive and available to resolve minor issues. Couple of things, however, to note. When I booked this property early this year, I was told that new windows/screens would be replaced by the time of our reservation several months away. Unfortunately they were not and several were cracked and in poor condition. Earlier reviews had stated the poor window conditions. Not a problem for us but do note that the short walk to the beach can be quite challenging and the lack of a back yard patio had not been stated in reviews. Perhaps, the reason for no back patio is why would you need one when the beautiful ocean is out front! So, BBQing is done in the driveway but with a view! Bottom line ~ would we return...YES!

The house was clean. location was excellent; view great. however, house itself was in poor condition. way too much deferred maintenance. Remodels looks to be crudely done. Shower in back bathroom had plugged drain; dirty water backed up. House is multilevel, not disclosed in listing, so handicapped folks had a hard time with so many stairs. No faceplate on elec outlets. Many knobs on kitchen cabinets loose. Ice maker doesn't work. housekeepers left dead spider and old paper towel in kitchen. Dead fly on white window sill in dinette. Overall, a run down house with a luxury price. We would not book it again, nor recommend it. Only 2 exits from house, both in the front. This is a fire hazard. Need an exit at the rear also, otherwise folks would be trapped in a fire. This place would never pass a home inspection.

We loved the location of the home with huge ocean views. Sitting in the dining room or living room, we could also watch the wildlife which include a bobcat, deer, herons and quail. The house was decorated in a very tasteful coastal manner. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a huge plus.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. I wish the photos of the posting were more clear of what to expect, it really is a lovely home with the most beautiful view. There are a few staircases that seperate the living spaces that expected from seeing other reviews so just reiterating that, since we had several newly walking babies we were on alert. But the common space is on its own level so it was a nice place for us to hang. The beach is a short 5 minute walk, a little steep with stairs and had to go through some shrubs to squeeze through on the path but we made it through with our babies and it was so lovely and private! We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was and had everything we needed to cook all weekend. And also loved having a bathroom for each of us. Some of the showers worked better than others but they were all useable. The floors were a little dirty but we expected as we are near the beach. The front yard was stocked with several adirondak chairs to relax and enjoy the view. Felicity the host was very kind, thoughtful and responsive to all the questions I had throughout the weekend.

Rented this home for a family weekend getaway. Can't beat the amazing ocean views. The home is within a well maintained community with a golf course. Nice walk down to Pinnacle beach. Short drive down to Duran beach and nearby shops/restaurants. Kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, board games, and beach toys. Overall, home was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated (more updated than what's seen in listing photos). A minor issue i.e. main lights in dining/kitchen did not work at all but thankfully summer days are long. Owners were fairly responsive

Washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, air filter, sink, and shower/ tub drains are all filthy. Fridge & dishwasher had discoloration & bad smells coming out of it. Washer & dryer have scaling and hair stuck all over them inside. Air filter completely coated with dust. Shower/ tub drains had hair in them. Dust & dirty hand/ finger prints scattered all around the walls & furniture. Misc. damage all over the walls, cabinets, counters, baseboards, pretty much on everything. The misc. damage could be overlooked, but it should be disclosed in the listing. Cutting board had crumbs on it. Drawers had misc. debris in them. A window was replaced or modified at some point and it appears to be leaking and have what appears to be black mold spots all around it. The drywalling around it is poorly done, possibly not painted, and the corner beads are cracked. Electrical blank cover plates were partially covered by baseboards, voids in tiles around old shower fixtures that do not work, electrical cover plates modified or missing-- all building code violations. The voids around the shower had slugs coming in. A skylight is cracked, a window is cracked. There is a cable for the beam above the dining room table that is not screwed in, just hanging from the rafters. It is a great location, and a charming property, it is just not maintained or cleaned properly. This property should not be listed for rent anywhere until the shoddy construction is corrected, and is professionally maintained & cleaned.
