Beautiful views. Easy and short drive to Owaka and Catlin attractions.

No details given ahead of arrival as to how to access the property. We were told the host would meet us at the property, but this was not the case and only after 45 mins of leaving voicemail messages on their mobile did we get a call advising us where the entrance key was hidden.
Apart from the let-down about access, we liked the property - rustic, but a classic family holiday chalet, with a cosy, warm feeling.

The location of the property was second to none. It was peaceful and very comfortable. The somewhat dated interior may not appeal to everyone, but it suited us perfectly.

Location was perfect for all the Catlins offers.
Log burning fire and plenty of wood.
Close to Owaka.
Birdsong and visiting tuis.
