Agriturismo Pirara

Beautiful location on top of Calabrian mountains. Very fresh in the summer. Very nice and friendly staff. We asked to have dinner and lunch there, delicious and at a good price.

Breakfast could be improved (including fruits or cheese, for example).

The owner is a very kind and polite Italian gentleman. He did not refused my daughter's request to ride horse. That is very kind of him an appretiated. Family room was clean and well equiped. We found whatever we looked for. Thanks.

Ralph and Enzo were fantastic hosts! The farm was all that we were expecting and more, as we were able to go with Ralph and feed the animals. The air is so clean and fresh and the views were breathtaking. A continental breakfast with the most unbelievable croissants each morning and the dinners were out of this world - true farm to table, authentic Italian. It's a little off the beaten path, so a good driver is required for the hilly switchbacks cut into the mountain - for us, it added a little to the adventure. This was a great family vacation for us in Calabria.

Since it was off season, the weather was a little chilly, and the house never really got warm, later in the spring and in the summer, I'm sure that's not an issue. There are no stores or really much of anything nearby, so go with snacks and maybe some games, or a deck of cards.

Food was freshly cooked from local or own produce. Personal Service and attention to detail made us feel honored guests. We were recommended that we stay here, so glad we took that advice. Owner speaks fluent English which was a real bonus for us, and is a great conversationalist. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
