Lots of stairs involved

The hosts are really nice and answer questions quickly. The view is nice.

The free parking is a 10 minute walk to the apartment and there's alot of stairs involved. The apartment is up 3 flights of stairs. There is no central ac. They give you one towel per person for your entire stay and one roll of toilet paper. There's no breakfast. I would recommend staying at Hotel La Bussola instead.

Lovely apartment with stunning view.

Stunning second floor apartment on the main square overlooking the lake and the Isola San Giulio. Traditional elegant furnishings with modern facilities. Hosts Alice and Giorgio were helpful and attentive. Their office is 100 metres away in case of query. We ate at all five of their restaurant recommendations in the old town. We usually had breakfast in the cafe below our windows with the spectacular view but also at the bakery with home made croissants. The information about car parking was spot on. Giorgio met us in the square and helped with the luggage. We stayed five nights and enjoyed every minute - boats round the lake, the Sacre Monte, the island and the lakeside villages/ towns. We would happily stay again.

Be aware that the apartment is two floors up with steps to match. May not be suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.

Very good

The aopartment is very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need. In addotion we received a lot of good and orginized information regarding the ares, which we enjoyed a whole lot. (Mostly the routs to walk in and where to buy staff we neede).

There ia around 10 minutes walk from the parking to rhe appartment, and the appartment it self is located in the moat touristic area of the old part of Orta. Still insude it is quire, no lroblem. Still in order to buy groceries we had to take a drive outside the area,

A beautiful luxurious apartment set in a beautiful picturesque historical town.

This apartment was absolutely superb! It was incredibly spacious for two with stunning views of the lake and island San Giulio - a picture postcard every time you look out the windows! The king size bed is very comfortable as is the furniture - everything needed for your stay is provided.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit herrlichem Ausblick auf die Klosterinsel an zentraler Lage.

Essen in grosser Auswahl direkt vor der Türe: viele Restaurants, zudem ein kleiner Einkaufsladen mit vielen wichtigen Nahrungsmitteln. Schöner Ausgangspunkt für: Spaziergänge durch Gässchen des Städtchens, rund um die Halbinsel, Wanderungen dem Ufer des Sees entlang oder auch auf die umgebenden Berge. Zudem nahe an Bootsanlegestelle zur Klosterinsel St. Giulio. Zudem am Fuss des Sacro Monte gelegen, auf dem sich eine idyllische Anlage mit kunstvoll gestalteten Kappellen (20!) zum Leben des Franz von Assisi befindet. Läden verschiedenster Genres: Kunsthandwerk, Parfumerie, Gelaterie.

Nachteil der ansonsten sehr bevorzugten Lage: nur selten ruhig aufgrund der Restaurants mit ihren Umtrieben.
