Beautifully renovated, in a small town on a hill among vineyards. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, especially during late spring, summer and early autumn, when the vineyards are green and you can also use the outdoor pool.
Soundproofing between rooms could be a bit better. We booked 2 rooms and the couple staying in one of them was awakened at 7am by other people staying at the property.

The kindness of the hotel staff
There is no suitable way to bring the luggage from the parking to the room.
There is no kettle for making tea or coffee in the room.
There is only top douch in the shower. It's not convenient when you want to avoid wetting your hair.
The wifi is very very weak in the room. We could not use it.
It's nice to have a desk in the room, but there's no electricity socket nearby to use a laptop.

Beautiful setting. Room was clean and tidy.
Shower was tiny. Also we were there in the middle of the afternoon on a hot day. Hoping to sit by the pool as that is really the only thing to do. For some reason the pool was closed and they would not open it. Very disappointing as we with friends at other hotels in area and their pools were open. Seemed like they just did not want to go to the trouble of opening it.

Agnes (staff) was super nice. Made us coffees and welcome drinks.
Of our 12 days in Tuscany/Umbria this was maybe our least favorite place. It was the most expensive place we stayed and not worth the cost. Location beautiful, but the landscaping and grounds were not maintained well. We are sorry to give it a low rating. no hooks for clothes. no place for suitcases. no water glasses. soft bed.
