K2 Hostel

The room and bathroom are very clean. The staff is also very helpful that she helped me to book the taxi to jetty as she knew that I need to catch a very early boat.

A really great hostel. Very clean and comfortable. The most comfortable bad I slept in during my whole trip.

The location is far outside from the city centre but close to the train station.

I liked the location next to the Taitung Train station.

K2 hostel only had one bathroom (one shower, one toilet, one sink) on each floor. This was inconvenience on the dorm floor where many people may have needed to use the bathroom at one time. There was another bathroom on the first floor where the common area was so that helped.

It’s not bad, the place is pretty fine, with good beds and all.

I just didn’t sleep at all. Someone on top of me was snoring insanely loudly, even though I was wearing earplugs, it was so loud it was impossible to sleep at all. So I spent the night trying to wake him up to get a minute of sleep but nothing worked. It is so so rude to book a room in a hostel with so many people if you have such a heavy problem. Also the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. So so so far from anything interesting in Tainan, I had to do car pulling. Also the living area is very small and intimidating, I wasn’t feeling like I could chill there and have a meal or anything… But not bad, just very unlucky
