Renata was a lovely and warm host who was very attentive to our needs. The breakfast array was amazing! So many cakes and breads to choose from! We will definitely stay here upon our return. The kitchen for guests’ use is handy and the breakfast area provides a nice bonus space if you have a little work to do on your laptop. (Good WiFi as well)

La gentilezza, la pulizia e la bella conversazione a colazione con la signora Renata, mentre gustavo i biscotti e le altre leccornie preparate da lei. La casa di Renata si affaccia su una via adiacente alla piazza del paese, dove era in corso un 'misericordioso' e intimo mercato: due bancarelle di mercanti marocchini molto gentili, tre potenziali compratori (me compreso) e tre piccoli corvi che gracchiavano dalla torre dell'orologio, dando vivacità alla piazza. Sul lato nord, sotto un grande pesco dove un tempo sorgeva l’originaria Rocca medievale — oggi scomparsa e sostituita da una torre con orologio settecentesca — sorgono una bellissima chiesetta e il decoroso edificio del Municipio. Consiglio vivamente di andarci. Roccasicura è uno dei tanti paesi delle aree interne che conserva quell'umanesimo antico che ho riscontrato nelle persone con cui ho parlato: la signora Renata, Alì e Muhammed. Roccasicura vi aspetta, prima che il suo mercato muoia.
