Hosts trying to save money at guests expense. Our stay was cold and uncomfortable. Do not recommend.

The location was not very convenient for taking a train, but there was a grocery store nearby and that was great. The hosts were friendly and responsive (but not helpful).

My overall feeling is that the hosts tried too hard to save money - at their guest's expense. There was one heating unit for the main living area. It ran continuously, but never came close to warming up the room. My spouse and I wore layers of clothing and often coats and scarves inside the apartment. The towel warmer in the bathroom also never got hot. It couldn't even help the towels dry. The towels stayed cold and damp the entire time. We were two adult for 5 days and we were given 2 coffee pods, slightly more than 1 roll of toilet paper, no paper towels, etc. There were no extra towels or comforters for the bed. We were cold and uncomfortable the entire time. I would not recommend this or stay here again.

Great central location

The property was in a great spot for exploring Provence, very central to all towns and tourist spots. The apartment was equipped with everything needed and very comfortable and spacious. The Air conditioning on the bedroom level was essential as we stayed through a heatwave . Everything was clean, parking ( free) was a short walk away and if needed could drop bags at front door. Plenty of spots to eat in surrounding area. Supermarket at end of street.

The area is located in the local neighbourhood so a vast array of residents around going about their every day. Sometimes noise/ arguing from neighbours was unpleasant. The living area only had a fan and as we stayed during very hot weather the fan just wasn’t enough unfortunately .

Superb

The decor and layout as well as convenience for town centre.

As I tend to cook when away I never think there are enough decent knives and utensils. However, that is very much a personal thing and I had no difficulty preparing meals with what was on offer.

Ein sehr sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Domizil für einen Kurzurlaub in der Provence. Gut gelegen!

Das Häuschen liegt am Rande der Altstadt von Beaucaire. Zum Kanalhafen und zu den Geschäften und Restaurants ist es nicht weit. Direkt am Ende der Straße ist ein kleinerer Intermarché. Drei Boulangerien sind in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Groß gemessen am Rest des Hauses ist das Bad neben dem Schlafzimmer im 2. OG. Die Wasserversorgung, auch mit Heißwasser, war sehr gut. Die Küchenecke ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit einer Kaffeemaschine (Kapseln), einem großen Kühlschrank, einem Induktionsherd und vielem Zubehör. Alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Das WiFi funktioniert ganz ordentlich. Beaucaire/Tarascon liegen für die Highlights der Provence sehr verkehrsgünstig. Mit dem Auto ist man z. B. in weniger als 30 Minuten in Avignon oder Arles.

Ich bevorzuge hochwertigere Kissen im Bett. Das TV hat nur französische Programme und ist kein SmartTV. Im Nachbarhaus wurde renoviert, die Geräusche waren sehr unmittelbar zu hören. Sollten die renovierten Räume einmal bewohnt sein, befürchte ich eine hellhörige Situation. Zu den Gratis-Parkplätzen muss man je nach Tageszeit etwas laufen. Auch wenn viele auf dem Blvd. Foch auf dem Mittelstreifen parken, mahne ich zur Vorsicht: Es wird tatsächlich abgeschleppt.

Logement bien situé

Le logement est très bien situé, c'est idéal pour visiter la région. La cuisine est bien équipée. Le logement est joliment décoré et spacieux. Les propriétaires ont l'air sympathiques.

Le lit n'était pas très confortable, tout comme les oreillers très plats. Je rajouterai un économe pour pouvoir éplucher des légumes. 1 rouleau de papier toilette (rose) pour une semaine pour 2 personnes je trouve ça assez juste. Le sèche-cheveux est abîmé, je dois avouer que je n'ai pas osé l'utiliser.
