App Obrovac in the centre - with amazing sea view!

A fabulous, huge, old-world apartment not far from the Old Town, with amazing views from the balcony, which I absolutely loved. It had everything I needed for a week’s stay, but what really stood out was the thoughtfulness of the host. Communication beforehand was excellent, and after climbing the stairs, finding cold water waiting in the fridge was such a blessing! There were so many thoughtful extras—bread, snacks, plenty of towels, coffee and even milk. It completely took the stress out of having to find a shop first thing the next morning, and instead I could simply relax on the balcony with a coffee and enjoy the view.

Although I adored this stunning apartment, there seemed to be quite a few rules on check-in, as it is in a residential building where many older people live. This was completely understandable, but it did make me a little conscious about making too much noise. The air conditioning was good, although a plug-in fan would be useful for a quicker cool-down, and perhaps some air fresheners in the wardrobes would be a nice addition. There are local supermarkets and coffee shops nearby, but it’s worth carrying some cash as not everywhere accepts cards. Staying here definitely makes you feel immersed in local Pula life, although at times I felt a little conscious of being a visitor in a very residential area

Location was outstanding. Few minutes walk into town
