I had a very nice and peaceful stay at Sharm el Naga Resort & Dining Center. It is an eco-budget lodge away from the hustle and bustle, making it a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The staff are extremely kind and make you feel like part of the family. Special thanks to Mr. Muhammad at reception, who was very helpful and provided lots of information about the place. The chef team — Mr. Alaa, Amr Shazly, Mr. Abdu and Mr. Minam Abdul Munim — together with the other chefs, would always go out of their way to assist and serve you. Housekeeping, especially Mr. Mustafa and Mr. Ibrahim, did a wonderful job, and the security staff were professional and always attentive. The highlight is definitely the beautiful jetty and coral reef, which is excellent for snorkelling. However, you cannot really swim from the beach as it is fully coral. There is no swimming pool or diving centre on site. I was advised to use the diving centre at the neighbouring Al Diana Hotel, which I feel would be better if there were facilities available directly at the resort. Overall, a lovely eco-style budget stay with genuinely warm and caring staff. The beautiful reef and peaceful surroundings make it a special place for nature and snorkelling lovers.

The hotel is located on a beautiful coastline with a rocky beach and a jetty that makes it excellent for snorkeling. However, guests should note that there is no sandy beach at all. The restaurant serves good-quality food, though the variety is somewhat limited. The staff overall are friendly and welcoming, but I experienced one issue regarding water policy: each guest is provided only one 600 ml bottle of water per meal, and any additional bottles are charged extra. As we were a family of 14 staying on a full-board basis, this rule was inconvenient and felt restrictive. While the setting and service were generally pleasant, I hope management will reconsider the water policy to make the experience more comfortable for families and larger groups

During my stay, I found the hotel’s policy on drinking water quite restrictive. Each guest is provided with only one 600 ml bottle of water per meal, and any additional bottles are charged separately. For a large family like ours (14 people on a full-board stay), this created unnecessary inconvenience and extra cost. Given the importance of hydration, especially in a beach resort environment, I believe the hotel should revise this policy. Providing more generous access to water, or at least offering refillable dispensers, would greatly improve guest comfort and satisfaction.
