The guesthouse was clean and well equipped, the owner was the kindest providing information about the weather and the upcoming storms. Altogether it is a perfect budget place if you’re doing the ring road. It is easy to find it too.

Spacious, good value for money, clean, friendly check-in instructions, nice common spaces. Feels like a great grandma’s house :)
The structure could benefit from some renovations, no hood in the kitchen.

I liked the library. The place feels very personal and hospitable. The price was for Icelandic standards quite reasonably.
I didn’t like the limited washroom facilities. There are too many rooms depending on one bathroom upstairs.
