Overpriced / Underdelivered

The Balkon was nice.

So many little things were overlooked. A bottle of water or a welcome note? Nope. No clear instructions upon arrival. I panicked and had to call the booking service because there was no answer from the owner and no key 🔑 or code. There is a keycode /keyless entry panel on the door - but you need a metal key., which is confusing! The actual key was hiding in a location not disclosed to me. Finally, a person emerged from another flat to show me where the key was - and acted like it would have been my fault that I didn’t have superpowers 🦸‍♀️ like magneto to grab the key from its hiding spot. The cracked toilet button can pinch your finger and take care for the malfunctioning water lever - be careful, or the water will run all night and splash the toilet seat - Not a sustainable solution. The Coffee Machine was broken. 😞 Nobody cared to replace this, even when requested. Ignored. No Wifi password available - The owner responded and provided this information, but really it should be available in a guest house rules book or something. 🤷🏼‍♀️ These are basics people. The half fridge is so low to the ground, I caught my toe under the door, which wasn’t nice. I did not use the Shower, but the fan ran continuously.

Clean and tidy

I had expected to receive the check-in instructions the day before our arrival, but it turned out they had been sent when we booked the place a couple of months earlier. So, be sure to check your Booking.com message box in advance. Once I located the message, we entered the apartment easily by following the instructions. The apartment was spotless, and everything worked perfectly. We contacted the owner once about a missing utility, and the lady downstairs brought it to us within minutes. The location is slightly outside the city center, but it’s close to the main train station and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Overall, it was a good experience.

Close to shops and old city and railway station. Very well equipped and comfortable. Balcony is lovely with friendly cats.

The apartment is in very quite location and it's big trees inside the inner courtyard. That's why creates so cozy atmosphere. The apartment is very clean. All needed equipment is in the kitchen too.

Great apartment

Excellent modern apartment with good facilities and a nice balcony.It is close to the main station,supermarkets and restaurants.The cathedral is about 20 minutes walk away. The host,Chris,was very helpful and made check in easy. Highly recommended place to stay.

Very pleasant stay in Aachen

Delightful hosts, nicely furnished bedsit, everything we needed available, 15 min walk to the train station if one had light luggage, otherwise bus 14 was 5 minutes away. And only 4 stops on the bus to the station. A 25 minute walk to the old town. We also enjoyed the balcony.

Great holiday, lovely city and friendly hosts

We returned for another stay after having been here last December. It is a great apartment in an excellent location and owned by a really nice family. We had a lot of travel problems and the host couldn't have been more helpful with our more than one amended arrival times. We will no doubt stay here again at some time in the future, haven't got a single thing to complain about Thank you Rainer and Family

Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was es für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Der kleine Balkon ist schön.

Dass im Winter die Heizung gegen 22 Uhr komplett ausgeht und erst gegen 6 Uhr wieder an, lässt es nachts recht kalt werden.

Alles soweit ganz gut. War alles unkompliziert.

Es was schon alles gut, sehr sauber und unkompliziert. Sichtlich bemüht, den Gästen eine Freude zu bereiten. Dennoch sollte mal die WC Spülung und auch in der Dusche ein paar Sachen repariert werden. Dann ist sicher alles bestens. Preis ist in Ordnung, alles unkompliziert. Demnach - jammern auf höchsten Niveau.

Schönes sauberes Appartement für Selbstverpfleger in Stadtnähe.

Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig und hell. Überall Sauberkeit. Eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Geschirr und Geräten. Sehr gute Betten, so dass man sich von den Strapazen des Tages gut erholen konnte. Selbstverpflegung. Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt, alle fußläufig zu erreichen. Flachbildfernseher im Zimmer, Dusche und Waschbecken und separates WC. Alles in allem gut.

Es gab für uns nichts zu bemängeln.

Sauber, ruhig, zentral und gemütlich

Ruhig, sehr sauber, praktisch ( an alles gedacht) + gemütlich eingerichtet. Toller Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Konnte im Januar leider nicht genutzt werden. Fußläufig zur Innenstadt. Freundlicher, gut erreichbarer Vermieter. Problemloser kontaktloser Check in und Check Out.
