VILLA IRENA - Longevity Retreat

The balcony and the pool were the highlights of our trip, both offering such brilliant views over Trogir. The hospitality offered by Mark and family was second to none and they were always on hand with recommendations or help. The apartments were brilliantly equipped e.g. drying rack outside, cooking facilities, wifi connection. We also loved how close the beach was, literally a 5min walk downhill but bearable to make it back up again - great that there was an option of renting loungers and parasols but you didn't need to, and the beach bar was used on most visits! Oh, and having guaranteed and spacious parking (even when all apartments were in use) was a weight off my mind.

As a family of 2 children, one mum and one grandma, we opted to sleep separately from one another. I took the fold out bed in the childrens room which was fine but not as comfortable as I would have hoped for. Still, it was great to have the option of not sharing with my own mother! The sat nav route from the airport tries to take you up into the hills to find a suitable spot to turn around, making the journey from Split airport significantly longer than anticipated. As you are not able to turn left off the main road, this appears to be necessary (the same also when coming back from Trogir), however we found it possible to turn right into the Hippo mini-mart, complete a u-turn and cross the road to head back towards Villa Irena - saving 15/20mins off the recommended route!

Les propriétaires etaient accueilliant. Nous étions à 150 m de la plage avec une piscine en option 2. À 3 km à pied en longeant la côte nous étions à Trogir

Værtparret var super søde. Dejligt sted med godt pool område.

Lejligheden var angivet som 50 m2 med havudsigt. Det må være en fejl. Der burde stå ca 30 m2 og havudsigten var gemt bag oliventræer.

Värdparet var otroligt hjälpsamma och trevliga. Välstädat och tryggt. Parkering intill huset och underbar vy.
