We had a fantastic week. The villa, the location the owner and his team were just perfect. Just few meters to the beach and a sea in front of you.

Der Vermieter Angelos war toll - freundlich, hilfsbereit und lösungsorientiert!!! Die Villa ist mit dem Auto ca. 1h30min von Heraklion entfernt. Die meiste Zeit fährt man an der Küste entlang. Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos; das Haus super sauber, gut ausgestattet (alles, was man braucht) und ausreichend Platz für 3 Personen; die Klimaanlagen funktionieren einwandfrei und sind individuell steuerbar; am 4. Tag kam eine Dame mit frischen Handtüchern, hat die Betten frisch überzogen und das ganze Haus und die Aussenbereiche geputzt; der Pool (Salzwasser) wurde fast jeden Tag gereinigt (aber ganz in der Früh, sodass man es garnicht bemerkt hat); im Aussenbereich findet sich ein zusätzlicher Bereich mit einer größzügigen Dusche und Toilette (überdacht und nicht einsehbar); weiters gibt es auch eine Aussendusche, damit mit man sich nach dem Meer kurz abduschen kann; die Lage ist sensationell - genau, wie auf den Fotos! Man ist absolut für sich, umgeben von Olivenbäumen und dem Meer! Den Strand (runder Kies und Sand) hat man die meiste Zeit völlig für sich; Badeschuhe sind trotzdem von Vorteil; das Meer war kristallklar und ist von kleinen Riffen umgeben; der Strand fällt sanft ins Meer ab; In Lerepetra (ca. 10 Autominuten) findet man diverse Supermärkte (u.a. auch einen Lidl - wobei die griechischen Supermärkte schöner sortiert waren und eine größere Auswahlt hatten); wir haben uns 1x etwas zu Essen liefern lassen (App: Wolt)- war sehr gut; gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis; unkomplziert, sehr freundlich und bis vor die Haustüre; ein anderes Mal wurde uns vom Hotel nebenan ein Essen geliefert - auch hier: sehr freundlich und sehr gutes Essen; FAZIT: Wer einen Urlaub abseits von Trubel und Menschenmassen sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ein wunderschöner Ort mit wirklich sehr freundlichen Menschen, kristallklarem Meer, in einem gemütlichen Ambiente, das zum Verweilen einlädt und einen den Alltagsstress komplett vergessen lässt. Danke für diese wunderbare Woche!!!
Im Hotel nebenan ist ständig Musik - nicht sehr laut, aber deutlich hörbar. Das ist aber nichts, was der Vermieter ändern könnte. Uns persönlich hat es kaum bis ganricht gestört.

The place is wonderful! The spacious grounds are well-maintained and have a beautiful, well-kept garden. In addition to the well-equipped kitchen in the house, there's also an additional kitchen in the garden with a refrigerator (ideal for ice cream) and a sink. There's also a summer bathroom where you can shower while looking out at the sea. The pool is very pleasant – perfect for a short swim. The depth is approximately 1.4m to 1.8m – easy access via stairs. There's also a table right by the sea – perfect for evening board games! There's also a barbecue – we didn't use it, but it looked very nice.
The view from the cottage is breathtaking – it's gorgeous! The air conditioning is excellent.
The communication with the owner via WhatsApp was fantastic. We were surprised to find a lot of food for breakfast, including plenty of fruit, delicious cookies, cake, and drinks. I should add that it wasn't a token tray like you sometimes get in hotels, but a truly generous portion of good-quality food.
There's music coming from the hotel next door, but it wasn't bothersome. The cicadas and the sea drowned it out effectively. The music wasn't playing at night—it didn't disturb our sleep.
Comfortable sleeping for three people. There's a large bedroom with a double bed and a small one with a single bed. We managed to squeeze a mattress into the small bedroom, and our two small children slept there. There's also a sofa bed in the living room. Sleeping in the living room is always a bit uncomfortable, but we managed to avoid it.
These were minor inconveniences, but they may be significant for some.

This place is great: it is located remotely in the sense that it feels 100% private, but has 2 resorts with great restaurants at walking distance. The host has been fantastic: he welcomed us with a personal gift (it was our honeymoon), and made up for the fact that the whirlpool broke down in the most gentleman-like way. I would definitely book this again!
