Nice little place in the mountains, away from beach resorts. Good opportunity to view and experience local village life.

I spent two wonderful weeks at Dream Stonehouse with my husband and teenage son. The house is stylish and well equipped. For people who do not like noisy holiday destinations, it is a great opportunity to rest in silence in a real Croatian countryside with a beautiful view of the mountains. At the same time, the nearest beach is only a 25-minute drive. The special atmosphere of this place is created by Mrs. Vesa – very kind and helpful host who provided us with local specialties and took care of us whenever we needed her. Thanks a lot.
No serious disadvantages.

In the bedroom, there was a very good, convenient big sized bed, the shade on the windows and doors nicely did their job as well.
The mosquito nets was also a brilliant plus there. (10)
The bathroom is just perfect as it is, we love that there is bidet as well, and many place where we could place our stuffs.
Washing machine is also a plus.
These are unusual. Perhaps the best part of the apartment. :)
Also good thing to have the other toilet below.(10)
The kitchen is well-equipped, it was like being at home.
There was everything except microwave-oven, but it was not needed.
Only bad thing in the kitchen is the darkness, so there could be a little more direct light. (9)
We like to be outside in the shady terrace, and barbecuing there or just have a rest.
The trees, walnut and fig tree is my favorite.
But if there is raining, there are nothing to do there.(9)
The stone house is cool enough, so air conditioning is not missing.
The tunnel is free now, so I would inform the clients about it.
There were almost no tourists in Poljica, what we enjoyed so much.
The landlady was very nice.
Willing to give compensation is also positive. (offered 2 more nights for free)
Arriving:
As we wrote via booking.com we scheduled arriving there between 19:00 and 20:00 hour, and the 8 night was fully payed.
We arrived there at about 20:20.
Although we were late a bit, nobody waited us, moreover: not even expect us.
It was difficult to find the proper address, because there is no number sign on the house, or something to know if we are arrived at the Stone House or not.
So we counted from the other houses witch had numbers.
As we realized we arrived, and there was so dark, no signs, or a paper with a phone number to call,
we had to call the number what we found on the booking.
The English was set as spoken language in the booking.com, so it was very disappointing that the contact not even speak a word in English.
Because of the reason, we can not speak German, only a very few words, we could not have been understood.
If a Chinese call me on the arriving day, the fist thing is what I thing about that call the local host ask if the client already arrived there or not, because there is chance to they arrived there, but I can not understand a word. I mean it when I said "we have not been expected".
Buy the way, the English speaking contact save us out, but I do not know, what if we do not speak any language except Hungarian. :)
I suggest you to write out the name of the apartment, and place a contact number of the local host, because it would save the clients from many troubles by getting in.
Communication:
As I mentioned before, communication is a thing what can be improved.
To booking in a wrong country, It was our fault.
We wanted to stay in Otok Krk, Poljica not in Dalmatia.
I sent a cancellation request via booking.com, but not even answered.
Accommodation:
The Dream Stone House is not fit for 4 adult, not even 2 adult with 2 childre
The child sized couch (Sofa) is not considered a double bed, it should be only an extra bed.
