Stunning Sicilian Villa

Tout est parfait.

В доме 2 этажа, имеются стиральная машина (есть гель для стирки ), посудомоечная машина (есть таблетки), полный набор посуды, гриль, а так же парковка для автомобиля во дворе. Кондиционеры тоже работают. Есть крытая терраса с мебелью. До моря 450 метров через переход над дорогой, пляж - песок.

На 16 дней не было подготовлено смены постельного белья, всего 1 рулон туалетной бумаги на 2 туалета, в биомусоре пластик и черви от предыдущего арендатора, соседские собаки лают вечером и ночью каждые 10 минут, а днём орут соседские дети или включена музыка - тишины тут не бывает. Все шкафы заняты одеждой владельца. Невероятно много комаров, но есть фумигаторы. Без машины делать в этом районе нечего, ближайшее кафе на берегу 30 минут пешком. Так как мы арендовали на двоих, вторая спальня была замкнута, никто нас не спросил, какую мы хотели бы для сна. Спальня, которая нам оставлена примыкала к соседям (брат хозяина виллы), за стеной слышно как храпят или ругаются соседи. Брат в наше отсутствие приходил несколько раз за дровами для своей печки для пиццы. Все соседи поочередно устраивают вечеринки до 1 ночи с разговорами и музыкой, поэтому ночью невозможно открыть балкон, спать приходится под кондиционером. Обещанного вида на море нет. Тостера тоже нет. На улице бродят собаки, которые выглядят очень агрессивно и кидаются на проезжающие автомобили. Пешеходных дорожек нет, только проезжая часть.

Ideal location, close enough to Palermo but out of the hustle and bustle. Great as a base for driving to different towns and also very close to Palermo airport.

Water pressure was iffy at times.

The positive remarks have remained the same* The house has all necessities and more: comfy beds, AC, equipped kitchen, washing machine, plenty of towels, big fridge, spacious garden, a secure parking and WiFi. The host Gianluca was super helpful giving us tips where to go during our stay. He was also answering our requests promptly when we incurred in small hiccups like difficulties with the lock, the electricity disconnection and the garbage left outside by previous tenants

Unchanged: "The garbage left by the previous guests stayed outside the villa for our entire stay as the municipality refused to to collect it for some conformity reason, which made us feel uncomfortable. While we deposited the plastic and paper in the special boxes and placed outside as requested when we left we took our garbage with us and dropped it in the bin on the way to airport to avoid adding further garbage outside. Waste on roadside is a sad reality of this beautiful town" Added: "This experience taught us to avoid accommodation where owners live abroad and where deposits are not transferred via wire. We unfortunately made the mistake to leave the 100 EURO deposit in the mail box instead of the key box as the owner specified. While this was our fault, the price we paid for this was too high. The owner had lost the key of the mail box and while he could have arranged for someone to come and open the box and replace the lock he told us that the cost would exceed our deposit. We did contact a few locksmiths in the town to inquire about prices and eventually give their details to the owner. We even found a reasonable quote that would have cost no more than 60 euro. However, the owner told us we were not entitled to do so adding that by contacting Booking.com to mediate we allegedly broke his trust and we lost our deposit. This was very unfortunate and left a bitter taste"
