Almost perfect.

Good location, friendly host. Clean. Spacious. I didn't realise I'd booked a shared kitchen, lounge set-up so this was a surprise. ould be made even clearer on the booking site. Despite the surprise we were happy with the room.

We would love proper curtains in the bedroom to give more privacy when the lights are on at night, (houses opposite can see right in) and to block sunlight in the morning allowing for deeper sleep. Using the shared front door key relies on each resident putting it back in the key box which hadn't happened when we arrived. Our host was apologetic and very helpful.

Very minor suggestion would be to give the check in instructions via text message at the checkin time of the guest. Had a little wait to get in, but only because im sure Natasha was being as lovely to another guest as she was to me.

Ok, could be better, but ok.

It was ok, pleasant. Comfy bed. Self-catering facilities, had shared kitchen where can cook own meals such as breakfast, dinner, etc. Had tea and coffee facilities in kitchen, not in room. Has shared lounge area with sofas, etc. In location close to a path leading to Anne Hathaway cottage. Not too far to walk to town centre to see the different sights.

Only issue I had was that noticed box and dirty old sock under the bed in room stayed in. So cleanliness was a bit of a concern due to that. Unsure if they look or clean under the beds after customer leaves their room. Room is small and basic. Small private shower room with toilet. Have to mind the step when go in room, as has small step down. Nearly didn't see step upon entering room, so if you don't see it in time, could accidentally fall. I didn't like the step feature, but that could just be me nitpicking.

Good value, well located property - one or two( plumbing)tweaks would have improved it.

Location was fine. Room was clean. Pleased with the fact that there was more than one bed. Good to have a dedicated parking spot. Communication with hotel staff (Natasha) was good.

. Disappointed with the bathroom - sink tap was very loose; shower control fell off therefore difficult to properly control the flow.

Disappointing stay - we checked out within 5 hours

I do not recommend this accomodation for a holiday. The price was good but the value and quality was not.

There are no staff at the guesthouse. Check in was completed by a key in a pot. There are around 5 rooms and when we were there two were occupied by workers who lived there. The living area and kitchen are shared and the furnishings in the living area could use a refresh. There are marks on the walls and the linens in the bedroom and bathroom are old and thin. The "private" bathroom of the twin room in the public hallway and seems makeshift and not completed - there is no mirror and exposed / unfinished skirting - the sink is airplane size.

I didn’t realise the kitchen ( kettle/ coffee making) was a communal kitchen, and I felt uncomfortable using milk etc that was in the fridge- so I didn’t.

Conveniently placed. Natasha was very helpful and facilities very good.

We had a bit of trouble with the blinds in the bedrooms so left them down all the time but at least it seemed to keep out the intense heat.

Disappointed with cleanliness

The house and location were lovely. Lots of facilities. Clean bedroom and lovely en suite. Nice garden and close to Stratford centre.

The main kitchen had not been cleaned. A group had just left, and it seemed only our room had been made up and cleaned. The rest of the dining area and kitchen were left dirty, with wet dirty tea towels, crumbs, and dirty linen all on the table and worktops and other peoples food in the fridge. We called the owner straight away. We found somewhere else to go fortunately. This was a big disappointment as we had booked last minute after being let down by another property close by. We were staying to celebrate a special birthday and were upset by the circumstances and response of the owner. However, she did grant a full refund and apologised afterwards.

Lovely spacious and clean, everything you need away from home.

Mouldy food in the fridge and bin in kitchen overflowing and smelly. But not the owners fault as it’s a shared kitchen, obviously some people don’t think of others when they are sharing? but it wasn’t a problem as I just emptied the bin every day.

The lady was lovely. I stayed the first night in the wrong room! I couldn't believe my mistake. The actual lodgers were there the afternoon and it was so embarrassing. She handled it like a pro and made sure I didn't feel bad. The guys went out to dinner and the room was cleaned and ready for them. Thank you so much!!

the bed couldn’t lay flat and slope. limited time on hot water supply . many of the cooking ware were in damaged. the chair in bedroom is not stable . and many dirts marks on the desk .

Only 5-10 walk into town and easy parking on site. Had shared access to kitchen, lounge and outside area if wanted.

Curtains were very light which meant I woke up extremely early with the sunshine! No toiletries in bathroom so make sure you pack your own.
