Jake's Place Oneroa Waiheke

To house was clean, warm, comfortable and in a wonderful location with fantastic views!! We were welcomed by the lovely owners Heather and Alastair with their wee dog Lupin. They gave us so much information about the island and helped plan our trip for the weekend!

So handy! It’s the first bus stop as you come into Oneroa and then a 12 minute walk down Korora Rd. Straight opposite the property is the driveway down to the beach so we wandered along the beach to Oneroa town which has everything. The unit is perfect for a single or couple. Modern, comfortable and it has absolutely everything you could need, from a coffee machine to herbs, spices and condiments. The hosts couldn’t be more accommodating, attentive but not intrusive and even offered us a lift to the ferry. This property exceeded our expectations. Thanks so much Heather snd Alastair, - we had a wonderful stay!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very quiet area, free off-street parking available if you have a vehicle, only five minutes from the library if you're walking. Many very good restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Excellent public bus service, covering many of the great beaches and a number of the vineyards. Waiheke is truly a gem!

The Fullers bus services provide access to several vineyards not covered by the public bus services, but they are quite expensive.

Location was perfect for view of Oneroa Beach, close proximity to shops & restaurants. A 5-6 min walk gave access to the great bus service which transported us around the island with minimal cost. Walks available from our doorstep as well around the island with use of bus service.
