Maison en Trulli située en pleine campagne, proche de la côte et à proximité de beaucoup de sites que nous avons pu visiter (Monopoli, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare) mais aussi d'autres un peu plus éloignés comme Matera et Lecce. les hôtes sont adorables et nous ont très bien accueillis. La maison est très agréable avec un terrain et un potager bien entretenu. Nous avons pu prendre tous les repas dehors.

TRULLI CONTI is a very lovely house close to Cisterningo (approx. 5 minutes by car), next to a former quarry and a farm. The garden is huge and thus ideal for a family with active children who will enjoy playing with the swing and will be interested in the activities on the farm next door. The house is very well equipped: you will find all the dishes and utensils you will need for cooking, there is plenty of storage space, and the bathrooms are very nice, too. The house is very suitable for a larger family or a group (three bedrooms for two, and one with a single bed). The hosts are exceptionally friendly and greeted us with local produce, wine, limoncello, and other delights. They were always responsive if we needed anything. We visited the place in mid-October, so we were more interested in walks and city visits. However, I could imagine this place to be suitable for a summer vacation as well: it is a bit cooler in the Valle d'Itria then on the coast, but you are still quite close to nice beach locations.

We stayed in TRULLI CONTI in mid-October, and it was rather cold for the season. It is hard to heat the Trulli - you only have electric space heaters and a fireplace. The building is not well isolated and cannot retain any warmth - this is probably a plus in the hot summer months, but it makes for a less comfortable stay in colder months. I'd thus recommend this place more for warmer weather. If you want to stay there during the colder months, make sure to pack warm houseshoes and be ready to layer up.

What a fantastic place to stay! It is a lovely trullo on a large plot and in a very peaceful and tranquil location. Yet, there are two pizzerias in the village, both within walking distance. It is near many of the best sites in Puglia: Lecce, Cisternino, Ostuni, Bari, Locorotondo, Monopoli, the coast and even Matera in Basilicata. The hosts, Francesco and his family, were incredibly friendly, helpful and flexible. The trullo itself is comfortable and traditional, yet has all the modern amenities you could want. Would definitely recommend!
