La Grange

It was beautiful and rustic, and had everything that we needed. The owner was wonderful, speaking to us in English as best he could, so between us we managed a couple of conversations!

There wasn’t really anything to dislike at all!

L'endroit est calme, très agréable. La maison, proche de celle des propriétaires, est dans un terrain avec des arbres énormes. Le cadre est très verdoyant. Les équipements sont bien et la maison est grande et confortable. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles. Les commerces sont seulement à quelques kilomètres. La région est magnifique, avec ses collines et ses bosquets.

Owners very friendly and chatty.Very obliging.... Rooms and bathroom very clean, spotless linen.

Only two good chairs. Chipped cups and glasses and cracked plates. No work surface or food preparation area. Very old worn out cooker with no temperature control, no working pilot lights and damp matches. No knives or chopping board. Very difficult to prepare cooked food. No outdoor dining table, just very small 'cafe' table. Owners dog roams freely all over gite area. Nice dog, but not really hygeinic. No phone network, so impossible to make or receive calls. Wifi signal does not reach terrace, so only inside.
