Dass die Bettwäsche extra kostet, hätte in der Beschreibung mit ausgewiesen werden müssen.

The village and the surrounding area were nice, birds chirping, hills, and everything very green.

1. Nightmare getting the keys. Instead of instructions upon booking, I got a German+Dutch numbers writing to which I never got a reply, Dutch one replied 2 days after our stay started! Communication is via some company: unhelpful replies & then "despite our efforts to reach you..." while I had no calls or messages from any of the provided numbers! I had to chase several numbers for hours before they told me the host would just meet us at the house.It should have been indicated upon booking, I shouldn't have to chase them. On arrival the owner was nice, we liked him. 2. Upon booking I received a message stating I'd get an invoice where I had to pay extra for the bedding & there was a deadline so if I missed that I'd lose the entire booking.Unpleasant extra step + wasting my time.This should be just included in the price. 3. When we arrived at the house with our dog, I see owner's dog running towards me & my dog!Shocking & unpleasant bc you don't know how either dog will react.It was fine in the end but knowing that we arrive with our dog, their dog should be put aside or we should have been warned.This is unacceptable. 4. It states that the entire property would be at our disposal which wasn't true. It was part of the house on the ground floor that had a key. But the hallway was shared, owners stayed in the house half of our stay. They even used the terrace which we should have had as per description but we were never even shown it. Moreover, the house is old so when owners walked around the house, the wooden floors/steps squeaked & it didn't feel like we had a place to our own, not at all. When the owners left half of our stay, we wanted to use the terrace but it had no furniture & the shed was locked. Nothing like advertised on the photos. 5. The heating system is very loud, so e.g. 10 min loud, 20 min quiet. It woke me up at night, and I didn't have a good sleep at all. 6.
