very nice property, plenty of bedrooms, good laundry facilities, liked the kitchen. Close to Bernie’s fish and chips, (Batehaven delight) supermarket, food stores, and there’s even an Oyster dealer two streets away.

be aware that the property faces the beach Road. However, this was no problem for us, as the beach Road isn’t heavily trafficked in September, and the bonus is that the front deck and front window faces the dawn sun which adds to the attractiveness of the property.

Great location right on Casey’s beach. The front kitchen, dining, lounge area and balcony both provide amazing views of the sunrise over the water. Plenty of space with each room quite seperate from the rest and good sized bathrooms.

Sadly we didn’t read the fine print on this listing and didn’t realise there was no linen provided - no towels, no bath mats and no sheets. Luckily Kmart was still open when we arrived, but still an additional expense that you don’t expect from a short stay. Not having wifi isn’t a deal breaker for us but most of the house also has limited reception. We stayed in the middle of a heatwave, and unfortunately the aircon didn’t seem to be working well so it was almost as hot inside the house house - thankfully there were fans tucked away in the bedroom closets. Parking was made harder by overgrown landscaping, we didn’t even attempt the garage.
