Highly recommend Leanne and Richard’s homestay! It’s like a magical castle, but more importantly, it feels just like home. We felt so relaxed and comfortable here, and could truly be ourselves. The hosts are incredibly kind, hospitable and full of love. They have so many lovely animals and treat them like their own children, which really touched us. My child loved playing with the animals so much, especially Percy, and the little pig Barrel. They are all so cute and kept my kid happily entertained the whole time. On the night before we checked out, my child even cried because she didn’t want to say goodbye to Barrel. We will definitely come back if we have the chance. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

An amazingly quirky house full of fun art, games, with a menagerie of animals to entertain outside on the homestead. Great location just a few minutes outside Kaikoura so lovely and peaceful too.
