Es gab einen Parkplatz und viele Fenster, so dass man durchlüften kann. Es sind zwar viele Treppen am Eingang, die man aber umgehen kann, weil daneben sich eine Rampe befindet. Wenige Meter entfernt sieht man die Hämelsche Burg.

Die Dusche ist gefährlich. Es gibt eine Badewanne, in der man aber duschen muss. Es gibt weder Noppen noch eine Anti-Rutsch-Matte, auch keine Haltestange. Darum muss man wirklich aufpassen, dass man nicht hin fällt.

This was our second time staying here. We decided to stay here again because we were really happy the first time. This time around was not as expected. This apartment is in the upper floor of the same house where the owner lives. When we arrived this owner came out and let us in. He had no idea how long we suppose to stay, didn’t even look at our documents, but wanted cash upfront with 100€ extra as a deposit. As we walked into the apartment we noticed that it was not aired out for a while. Place doesn’t have an air conditioner, but a lot of windows. Kitchen was barely equipped with anything. Not even dish soap and a sponge. Bathroom was nice with bathtub, but no hand soap and half a roll of toilet paper. Two bedrooms were spacious, but in the smaller one window had a broken window blinds which makes a bit of a problem because is light out somewhat late. Both bedrooms, even though they were queen beds, had only 1 pillow and 1 blanket (both old and raggedy). No extras. Downstairs lives the whole family with 2 kids. If you want piece and quiet, it is not possible. We travel a lot and we’re really disappointed because people usually make some effort to make guests welcome and comfortable. We love the city, the house and neighborhood, but hosts are not very welcoming.

Very spacious and natural light. Nice, big bedroom (lienen was warm and good for winter), bathroom is big with a big bathtub. Beautiful nature with hostoric elements. House is in quiet neighberhood, also good place if you have kids.

We broke the key because the lock was bad, and they too 30€ out of our 100€ deposit. There were a lot of cockrouches, But the house is in countryside, so it might be because it is a lot of humidity.

A very large comfortable flat in a rural location near to an old castle. Lots of facilities including a washing machine, which we used and worked well.

We had told our host (who lives on site) when to expect us but it took some time to get a response from her entryphone and she did not come out to greet us, just telling us the code for the key safe for the flat. Once in the flat, we found almost no instructions for anything, and no wifi code. We had to ring her door to ask for that. This time she was very slow to respond. Not welcoming at all, and a frustrating start to our stay. Wifi extremely slow and the internet frequently cut out completely. TV reception very patchy. Marginal value for a short stay, because there's a heavy cleaning charge. Would be better value for 3 or more days.
