A lovely, cosy cottage situated in a picturesque garden with a huge amount of old world charm about it. All the facilities are up to date and work well. The bed is very comfortable and the shower very hot with good pressure although a little hard to regulate. There were some nice edible surprises included in the cottage.

It needs another sensor light at the side of the cottage as it can be tricky walking on the uneven surface in the dark.

What a fantastic stay. The host was kind enough to offer us a complimentary upgrade so we actually stayed in the Arrondoon cottage which was bigger than the one we booked. It's an old cottage so very quirky and cosy. Loved sitting in front of the electric fire in the evening. The biggest joy for me was actually having a bath rather than just a shower (for the first time after several weeks on the road!). The water was beautifully hot and the bathroom actually had a decent number of towel rails (seems a minor thing but actually so useful!) Kitchen was well equipped for cooking simple meals on the two ring electric hob (with a sort of mini oven) and even had a small dishwasher. Was very happy with the port and other various treats left by the host (including different types of tea and hot chocolate). Lots of books and DVDs to enjoy too, and some board games/puzzles. Setting so lovely and peaceful, with the alpacas in the field next door. Was about a 20 minute walk into Port Fairy itself, which is a lovely, historic town. The host met us at the cottage to give us the key and show us a few things in the cottage, and she was very nice. The sun shines into the front at the cottage in the morning and then moves round to the back by the afternoon - we enjoyed sitting out on the veranda in the afternoon when the weather was nice. The water in Port Fairy is safe to drink but does not taste that palatable - the host supplied a big bottle of mineral water which was enough for our 2 night stay.

Honestly can't really think of anything... was just disappointed we didn't stay for longer!

We really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful cottage. The whole experience was relaxing, peaceful, and exactly what we needed. The service was excellent throughout, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I’d happily return.
