Mary's Place Stalis

We loved the setup of the flat with a large living room with air conditioning, sofa and TV with Netflix and YouTube. There were also great kitchen facilities such as an oven, hob and fridge freezer which we made good use of. The bathroom was great with a decent sized shower and a washing machine on the patio, which we also made use of. The bedroom had a large comfortable bed and we also had a parking space to park the hire car, which was incredibly helpful as parking was restricted in the area. The location was fantastic - 1 minute walk to the beach and in the hub of bars and restaurants. Sofia the host was also wonderful - she met us on arrival late at night, showed us where to park the car and showed us round the flat. There was also some bottled water, wine, fresh fruit and some cakes on arrival. The cleaning was also great as we had a 9 night stay.

The bedroom didn’t have air conditioning, so could get hot - but there was a fan in there to help with temperature so sleep wasn’t an issue, despite the high heat in Crete in July.

There were a few things we really liked: - Location (close to the beach and the best crepes in Crete (Mario)) - The host Sofia: helpful and explaining - Spacious room and balcony - Comfortable beds

Lovely spacious apartment, very central, clean, lovely large balcony

Stairs were a little steep.

Bruit de la route la nuit malgré les fenêtres fermées... Une réfection de la plomberie est à envisager (pression instable au robinet).
