Le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à la descente du ferry ! la maison 3 chambres et 3 salles de bain (haut de gamme) au milieu d'un jardin dans une petite anse au fond d'un cul de sac. A 20m de la mer avec 2 canoés à disposition.

The house has really nice position close to the sea, it is very spacious and quiet during the night. Beds were really comfortable and two bathrooms are also advantageous... kitchen was was well equipped, we have found everything what we have needed, including such small things as salt, pepper, sugar. You can also relax in hammocks, it is great in hot day. I have also appreciated that our six year old son could step into the water on small sandy beach...
To be honest we have expected a little bit more for that price the house was not 100% clean when we have arrived. I would also expect an outside shower at that type of accommodation because you cannot wash bathsiuts or snorkeling equipment or SUPs anywhere outside... The way to the house is also problematic on last 200/300 metres, there are only stones and due to the fact that local people are coming all the day to their fishing boats there are really big holes inside, what caused that our car got a little scratched on the upper side (we have a standard BMW 5). I wouldn't also recommend to come for anybody who is allergic on a cats... We have also some cats at home and we are used to live with them but these local ones living in the house were really mean - they were able to eat your food from the plate on the table if you were sitting outside (although we have feeded them all the holiday) and were not affraid of anything. I think that a little bit more care would be great because the surrounding of the house was really messy... This is actually what surprised us on whole Lastovo - we have expected something as protected area with nice nature and clean beaches and we have not found it at all, this island it's really messy compared to another parts or islands in Croatia... I can say that I would come to the house again, but not to Lastovo.

Very quiet place. Private property - not so many people around - we liked it.
Walking distance to the fency restaurant Porto Rosso - prices high but it keeps good level.
Driving distance to Lastovo - 2 shops there :)
For snorkeling it is better to take a kayak and visit some places outside Skrivena luka.
In general there is a possibility to run, swim, snorkel and enjoy the evenings sitting outside with glas of local wine (provided by owner).
Owner (vet) was helpful and very nice - our son had a duty to feed 3 kittens. We enjoyed it.
Construction area in the backyard. House was not finished but styley and ready to live.
During our stay some construction materials were stored in the backyard. There was a big hole in the ground- not protected. Not good for small kids.
No WiFi and weak mobile signal... to some extent it can be positive ;)

This is an exceptional experience well off the beaten track that you and yours will remember for years to come when all the other locations are a bit of a blur. If you want to discover the real Croatia, go back in time a little and appreciate the very best things in life, then this is for you. We absolutely adored this, not just the adults, but the 18/20 year old children. Not for everyone, but the ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT of our holiday. Perfect host. We are going back.
