About this house rental
The Shores is available during the Winter and off season months as a couples retreat with a maximum adult guests of 2. Pets are allowed (max 2).

*Gorgeous peaked roof and raked ceilings echoing the nearby waves and internally giving an uplifting sense of light and space.
*The stylish kitchen takes in the breathtaking ocean views while you cook and features granite bench tops.
* Master queen bedroom with ensuite , opens up onto decking with ocean views .
* Optional second bedroom is a double with bay window and ocean views - if two beds needed ( note maximum 2 adults )
*Fireplace warms the open living area in winter, creating a relaxing ambience throughout the house.
* Inside spa bath
* Two living areas with a separate TV lounge room.
* Unlimited wi-fi and SmartTV
* Wine and chocolates upon arrival
The House
The house has an additional 4 bedrooms and loft, which is unavailable as part of this rate, however guests have unrestricted access to the open living areas of the house, verandahs and surrounds.
There are a number of outdoor sitting areas for you to enjoy, two with beach front views, one off the dining area and undoubtedly the most outstanding is the front deck with its panoramic outlook over the beach leading onto a grassed lawn area.
The house has polished floor boards throughout with carpet in the bedrooms.
There are two bathrooms, both with showers and toilet and the main one also has a spa bath to really relax. Bathrooms have hairdryers and are fully stocked with quality toiletries.
The kitchen is well appointed with granite benchtops, microwave, dishwasher, coffee making machine, quality crockery, stainless steel pots and pans, sharp knives and beautiful glassware. We also have a well stocked pantry salt, pepper, herbs and spices, sugar, olive oil, sauces etc,

A laundry with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron.
Linen supplied upon request. $60 per bedroom inclusive of 2 bathtowels.
Yes we are pet friendly and have pet beds and supplies - however details of pets must be provided at the time of booking .
Guests requirements
* We are pet friendly but requests regarding bringing of pets MUST be made at the time of booking. Max number of pets is two. We do have indoor and outdoor dog beds and stainless steel food and water bowls. There is a secure area to the left side of the house where your dog can reside when needing to leave the property.
* The guest limits ( 2 adults) apply at all times during the booking. The booking is for couples only with the Master Queen bedroom available. If an additional bedroom is required please advise on booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay and will incur additional charges if agreed to. We will not tolerate couples birthday/pre/post wedding/anniversary events with additional day/evening guests.
* If you receive a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
We have neighbours that are permanent residents and therefore guest requirements/ house rules must be adhered to.
Location and Local Attractions
Culburra has two beaches, Culburra beach out the back gate and Warrain Beach a 5-10 minute walk. The house is in the perfect position, not far from the patrolled flag area during summer months or the shelter of Tilbury Cove. An easy to walk established pathway to the beach is 50metres from the front entrance of the house and you can be on the beach in 3 mins.
Lovely walks along the beach, around the rocks at low tide, to the headland, the local lake, Crookhaven lighthouse, Jervis Bay national park
Local lake, Lake Woolumboola is famous for its birdlife. Home to thousands of migratory and local birds, it is an easy 10 minute walk away.
Jervis Bay is a 15 minute drive, beautiful white sand and crystal clear water.
Shoalhaven and Crookhaven Rivers are a 2 minute drive. Fantastic for boating and fishing. Two boat ramps
Greenwell Point is famous for its oysters and fish and chips. Lovely park with bike path, take the kids scooters and ball. 10 minute drive away.
Nowra Fish and Meat Markets sell wonderful fresh fish and meat, excellent quality and good value
Barefoot lawn bowls is available at the Culburra Bowling Club
Woolies is now open long hours, quiet, spacious, lots of parking and has everything
Golf, several golf courses nearby
Bike riding, Culburra is very flat and quiet, easy ride to the headland at the end of the street, down to the lake, to the Crookhaven River and Lighthouse and to the shops and cafes

One of the best properties we’ve stayed at in Culburra. It’s cozy and it’s suitable for large families, and exceptionally clean. The location is unbeatable for beach walks, only a short walk to the beach. The beach is dog friendly with off leash from 4pm to 8am during summer, and the house itself is stunning. If you’re looking for a beach front property, quiet getaway to recharge the batteries, this is it. Thanks for having us!

The property location and views of the ocean are stunning. However, the property is tired looking and we booked upon seeing the reviews as high rated - the truth for us were the property was very unclean, oven and microwave were dirty, out of date milk had been left in the fridge, milk splatters all over the coffee machine, glassware and crockery were dirty, windows that looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a very long time, vertical blinds that did not operate and were broken, lounge that was filthy on the armrests that should have been replaced years ago.
