Relaxed Getaway Close to the Beach

The swimming pool and chairs, separate terrace, free parking, clear instruction videos at arrival, whatsapp connection with host in case of questions, the hosts remained discreet, close to the beach, good equiped kitchen.

The room could benefit from some renovations. We didn't used the lounge chairs on our terrace as they appeared worned out. Adding mosquito windows could enhance comfort.

Perfect for a peaceful, cultural, beach holiday

The accommodation was sublime and leans itself perfect for a combination of beachdays with slow mornings. A local bakery is situated nearby, aswell as a small supermarket, allowing for cooking selfmade meals in the available kitchen and eating on the private terrace. The pool, along with its loungers, allow peaceful afternoons in a quiet atmosphere. The host was very helpful, available and caring! Personally we didn’t utilise the bikes, however these were richly available! Besides this, as a result of the heat at the time, we figured utilising the local bus (line 28 to Pula center) or uber taxis were optimal and cheap aswell for heading into the city! Overall it can be said that this accommodation is perfect for getting affinity with the local culture while having everything you need as a tourist! After all we were happy to take this accommodation over a touristic hotel as it settled us into the pretty streets of Pjescana Uvala <3

Peaceful and relaxing, a great base to explore Pula.

The location was fantastic, a short walk into the little town, and the apartment was lovely and spacious and clean. But the main thing we loved was how kind and welcoming the owners were. They were so helpful and we’d highly recommend Sandy Bay based purely on how lovely they were!

Lovely apartment with two bedrooms, washing machine and spacious patio. The pool was superb. Free bike rental was available. The location is perfect - shops, restaurants and a beautiful beach are within short walking distance. Nikolina was a very friendly and helpful host. We had a really nice stay!

We had a great family stay at this apartment! The pool was beautiful and provided a refreshing escape. The rooms were comfortable, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal preparation convenient. Everythig was very nice, the place is in a very quiet place. the pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures but it was enough. they have bicycles which they give you for free to wander around, we had fun with them. very close to Pula, you can go by car/taxi or bicycle. the taxi is very expensive compared to our country…

Fantastic short get away!

Our stay far exceeded our expectations, the apartments are wonderfully located outside of the busy city in a quiet part of the town, a short 400 walk to the beach. Our hosts were brilliant, responded to all questions quickly and gave us information on surrounding areas and ideas to do. Nearby the apartment on the beach front there are a few amazing spots, the skuza restaraunt and the cocktail bar on the beach were our highlights (especially with a sunset!). Pula itself was wonderful and exciting to explore, everyone we met throughout our stay in the local area were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The apartments themselves were excellent for the price and the outside lounging area near the pool was private and quaint and lovely. Big thank you to the owners and of course Charles!

Not a lot to be honest with you :D, the only issue we had were lack of public transportation / uber and some shops and restaurants were closed but we knew it was because of the season we were in that caused this and no fault of the hosts.

The owners are friendly and helpful. I was traveling with a friend and we had an apartment with 2 bedrooms, each had our own bathroom. The apartment was large and comfortable. The beds and sofa were hard, but I was surprised I actually slept well. 🙂 Nice and quiet in the evenings. (There was one woman who was arguing with someone every single night at about 2:00-2:30am, a neighbor or maybe guests below us, but that's not the fault of the property.) The apartment was otherwise well- insulated against noise. The air conditioning was quite welcome during the hot days we were there! And it's a quiet type of air conditioning. Plenty of parking.

Great location only 10min easy walking to the main city beach, restaurants are also nearby. Local market is close by, the owners are really nice and pleasant people. Apartment is superb, really clean and with all equipment necessary even more (eg.microwave, coffee machine , 2 bbq outside...) We didn't use pool since the sea was warm enough, but many families that stayed with children used it on the daily basis. It is salty water in the pool. Enough spaces for parking in the shadow.

Certainly not for English people

These apartments should not be advertised on the uk website as no English people stay there or in pjescana. Also information booklet contained out of date bus times. Also the wifi was very poor I couldn’t get my iPad to work I was told it is your device my the owner this was not the case my iPad is a brand new one. The bed was very uncomfortable as well as the sofa. Very small bathroom and no toiletries as advertised. The area has nothing but fish restaurants not good when you have bad allergies to them. The only think I liked was the pool but you couldn’t use it after 6pm After writing this review I was sent a message form the owners about my review I have enclosed it under the photos.

Lovely little house with pool🐟

Everything was super, location, pool, close to the public beach, bakery and cafe was close. To the center of Pula it is 5 min by car. We attended good restaurants in Pula : Farabuto, Veritas food and wine, Ribarska koliba , Kantína and others. Rovinj is 40min by car and our recommendations are Valentino Champagne bar and Puntulina Michelin restaurant. It was unforgettable. Rovinj is lovely town just like in Italy. Best beaches was Kamenjak, Hawaian and Ambrella. Super holiday.🌞🙌

Schöner, erholsamer Urlaub in schönem Apartment

Lage und Außenbereich des Apartments sind super, auch das Apartment an sich ist sehr modern und durch die Klimaanlage auch bei warmen Temperaturen gut nutzbar. Der Gastgeber war immer zu erreichen und sehr zuvorkommend!

Leider gab es in der Küche keine Schneidebretter.

Super Urlaub

Die Lage des Bungalows war super. In ein paar Minuten kann man den Strand, Restaurants und einem kleinen Einkaufsladen/Bäcker erreichen. Pula ist mit dem Auto in ca 5 - 10 Minuten zu erreichen Die Ausstattung des Bungalows war super und es hat uns an nicht gefehlt. Der Pool war er eine tolle Abkühlung Es stehen genügend Fahrräder zur Verfügung. Wir selbst haben sie aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen nicht getestet.

Evtl. könnte der Pool am heißen Tagen etwas länger geöffnet haben 😉

Właściciel był bardzo pomocny, zorganizował nam transport na lotnisko, był cały czas pod telefonem i szybko odpowiadał na pytania. Basen był czysty i odpowiedni do chwili relaksu, aneks kuchenny w apartamencie spełniał w pełni nasze potrzeby.
