Casa El Drago - Gran Canaria

Great view from the terrace with a swinging bench. Shared fridge and free drinking water was a big bonus. The kitchen is huge and comfortable and the whole house has a character. The garden with goldfish is a nice touch and does not give the sense of mass tourism but rather a shared family home. The pictures on the walls in the lobby and all around are quite unique and reflect good taste

The shower and kitchen are two floors lower from the attic room with lots of stairs in between so you have to be careful going down and coming back up multiple times. It is a minor inconvenience as on the other hand you have a great view.

For sure interesting and specific place. Our room was basically basement with 5m ceilings. It had fresh look, maybe recently decorated. Good amenities, lot of shared space including sunny terrace.

Maybe bit too much of communication and and some rules comparing with avarage booking. As parking was in some residental zone it would be nice to give some card ot somethibg to put in window otherwise it was not clear whether it was legal or not in the end.

• This was the most affordable option we could find for 3 people. • The kitchenette is well-equipped and the bathroom looks freshly renovated. • The host was very nice. Even though he doesn't speak English, we communicated without issues using Google Translate.

• Misleading Layout: The listing claimed "2 bedrooms," but it is actually just one large room (studio) with a double bed and a sofa bed. • Parking Disaster: The listing promised a parking space, but the host directed us to park next to some containers around the corner. We woke up to a 40 Euro fine on the windshield! • Temperature: The room has very high ceilings (approx. 5 meters). It looked nice but was very cold, and the electric heater couldn't keep up. • House Rules: The host messaged us saying that because the stay was cheap, we should strip the bed linen ourselves.
