A comfortable stay in this unusual property with a friendly host. As others have commented, embrace it and you'll be fine. Just don't expect it to be more than basic accommodation in a great location.
There weren't many places with vacancies when I stayed, but the price seemed quite high compared to other more modern places I've visited on my trip. Not sure whether this was seasonal though, and I was glad to have a bed!
Breakfast was unusual, not often I've had a hamburger for breakfast. But I was able to cycle it off during the day!

Tranquil indoor gardens and lovely fun decorating.Very quiet location, and the owner was so kind and helpful.

I arrived late after a long day on my bike tired and hungry. They were very helpful arranging food from local vendor. The hostess has painted all the rooms with figures of all creations. The breakfast dining area has plants, trees which makes you fell outside though you are inside. The Coffee served for breakfast is the best I have had in Taiwan.
